Ahhh yes. The guy who would be Scissorboy in BWII. I never owned this guy, but my friend did. He was a cool figure, decent poseability, nice form, and pretty good detail.

Ah yes, Powerpinch. An old classic figure of mine. My most vivid memory of this figure is that transforming him fluently is nearly impossible. It was always easier to remove a few parts and then replace them when all the spinning things were done.
Ugh, Scissorboy, that name is so bad. It's right up there with Tasmania Kid and Randy. Give me a good old fashioned Powerpinch, Snarl, and Razorbeast any day. Honestly, the Japanese should use Japanese words to name their Transformers rather than trying to understand and use English words. Lio Convoy, Apache, Scuba, Big Horn, Diver, Tasmania Kid, Mantis, Big Mos, Tonbot, Drillnuts, Powerhug, Scissorboy, DJ, Motorarm, Gimlet, Lio Junior, Santon, Skywarp, Ikard; the names either don't make sense, are just plain bad, or both... I'll stick to the English names, thank you!

Not bad for an earwig. I have his claw thing, I just need the rest of him. Anybody got a spare?

when it comes to bad names, don't forget Erector and Big Daddy.

I partly agree with there, TPR. One of the names you mentioned was Skywarp (eagle Sivlerbolt). What's wrong with that one?

I think that if BWII (and Neo) are ever dubbed, they should use the english names. Except for the Jointron Bros./Tripledacus (redecoed Tripredacus guys) and the Magnaboss guys, cuz the U.S. Tripedacus guys were used in Beast Wars as the Tripredacus Council and the U.S. Magnaboss team is believed by many to be a governing body on their own (hence their use as the Maximal Imperium in IDW's BW comics).

Though I don't think they should keep their Japanese names, except for Skywarp. Lio Junior, Santon, Motorarm, and DJ should most definitely be changed.

I wonder who the next character page will be updated?

Btw, the new TF:A episode aired today. Today's episode was pretty good. Nanosec was an interesting villian. It was creative to have his body age faster as he moved at high speeds more often. This really differentiates him from such well-known speedsters like the Flash, Superman, Sonic the Hedgehog, Blurr, and the like.

Also, it was cool that we finally get to see Bumblebee's rocket thrusters in the show. While they look very different in color compared to the toy, where they are blue instead of yellow and black, they are very powerfula and dangerous to use indeed.

And it was nice to see Megatron again. Since he'll get his body fixed at the end of the first season, I was kinda hoping that Nanosec would've made his delivery on time, making one loss for the Autobots and Megatron's first success.

But one thing confuses me. Since Nanosec was in it for the money, and Megatron gave him Sumdac's SS#, I don't see why Nanosec didn't just use the SS# get more money instead of using it once and then following Megatron's order. Since he had the number, he could've ignored Megs and get rich fast. Why bother making the delivery when he just get all the money he wanted without having to bother with the package?

Also, did anyone catch the Cliffjumper and Bugbite references? when BB comes back into Earth's atmosphere, the heat is so great that he burns red, and look a lot like a Cliffjumper repaint. and when he's on the ground after having been slowed and sprayed by Ratchet and Prime, he's a light gray color, like Bugbite. Coincidence? Who knows.

Nice character page. I'd like to see the fabs next. I know I'm alone here, but I think they're really neat.
