That would be too cool to get true, Bass X0.

Yeah, I am British and was a fan during the early nineties - until the very end of our G1 (Predators, Turbomasters, Rescue Force, Motorvators...). I gave up on Transformers during G2, I just didn't like seeing old Diaclone molds being repainted and re-released or the crappy new molds with crappier color schemes. I think it was Laser Rod Optimus Prime that was the final straw. Back then, I wouldn't accept Optimus Prime being anything other than a flat-nose truck and there he was as a long-nose oil tanker. Years later, I bought Car Robots Black Convoy and fell in love with the mold. I came back to Transformers for Beast Wars (Dinobot being my first), hesitant to do so at first because toys were seen as kiddy stuff and there was no fandom to be a part of.

I can't sneak anything past you guys. Seems to me that there is an awful lot of knowledge here. Like Bass XO, I stopped during G2 which was just after high school for me. But I got married and didn't start back up until Armada. And slowly even then. As much as I love ebay is how much my wife hates it. LOL!

Next is Tansformers: Battle Stars then its Transformers: Operation Combination

First Battlestars/Return Of Convoy, then Operation: Combination and the European exclusives, and then, who knows?

Operation combination is hard to find, but its cool, especially cause of Battle Gaia. I really wanna see Beast Wars II here, cause they had a lot of interesting characters and molds, and even some G1/G2 redecos like Gigastorm. Then that might just be cause i have a perfect korean replica of Galvatron. (Two things Unicron.com loves: BW and Galvatron)

On the other hand, I do like G2 molds with a modern day quality paint decos. Robot Masters Laser Cycles and Cyberjets really do look awesome and I had to get them all. Its funny how growing up and a new color scheme can make a mold seem a lot better.

I hear ya. I'm proud to own Black Starscream, the most original seeker color scheme to date. And lets not forget shining magnus.
Blasten Blaster said,  - 2008-03-10 23:41:22
I'm not sure but wasn't Return of Convoy a movie or special episode.
Bass X0 said,  - 2008-03-11 15:32:32
I wish the seeker molds got painted details on modern releases such as eyes and insignias instead of them being stickers still. Some of the reissues got tampographed insignias; Grapple I know for sure did because I own him.

I think TF collection 9 Anime Starscream had tamped insignias and so did Sunstorm. I think encores all have it too.
