The 2001 page has been updated to include names above each toy, and one foreign toy not available to us in the US (except on e-bay for a lot of money).

I don't see any difference besides the Fort Max toy.

Doc! ;:(
As of yesterday, each box pic formerly did not have the name of the toy above it. Now it does. Plus, the addition of Brave/Fort Max.

Nice addition BP!

Fort/Brave maximus isn't that expensive it averages at around $400 w/shipping (i paid 390 for mine nearly mint w/ box) but compare that to the US version back in '87 and when u save +75% very good deal!

Brave Maximus wasn't the only Car Robots exclusive. What about the clear Super Car Robots brothers, the clear Spychangers, the Super Spychangers, the clear Super spychangers, the Clear God Fire Convoy w/ sword set, Super Indy Heat, and Super Wreckerhook?

Also, Several of them were colored diferently from their U.S. versions, like how Tigatron was colored differently in Beast Wars. Most notably were Valdigus and his components: Dorailer, Dangar, Greejeeber, Shuttler, and Hepter. All their gray was originally gold, among other major differences.

Not to mention several gift sets of characters that weren't offered in RiD: Build King, JRX, the Clear Super Car Robot Brothers, the clear God Fire Convoy w/ sword set, all six spychangers, and Valdigus.

Lastly, the Car Robots verison of Megatron, Gigatron, is definitely not the same toy as Megatron. Back when the toy was Gigatron, it had to be remolded when it was changed into Devil Gigatron (Galvatron). Our version of Megatron is really the Devil Gigatron toy in Gigatron colors. We never got the original Gigatron toy in RiD.

Darnit, I would have LOVED to see Fortress Maximus (in his old colors) reissued. Stupid toy safety laws that only apply to him!

I would like to know what the laws are concerning TFCC toys for adult collectors. Is there enough demand to produce that?

And I knew about the clear versions and the many versions of Spychangers. Thanks for pointing out the color difference. This happens again next update year with Armada versus Micron. You're always welcome to send links to me Byrerprime@comcast.net When I finally finish 2002-2008, I plan on going back through and tweaking things a little. It was a work in progress.

I can't wait for the micron section to be updated since that was my fave series(although because of the numbering on the microns it will look weird for only the x-dimension figs to be there). Anyways Unicron.com is getting better and better these days. Its definately been one of the sites I visit the most. One thing I wanna know is how does fort max go against child safety laws? If they can find a way around it though what Hasbro should really do is release Grand Maximus, since he was slightly different from all the other Miximus forts (being a pretender and all)
