"Accelerator"'s name should be "Accel" (or "Axle" as TFWiki believes it to be).

Superlink Megazarak was color quite differently than our Scorponok.

Their Kicker toy was a completely different mold than ours, and colored differently too. They also had a silver chrome version of him too (packaged with their Deluxe Grand Convoy)

We never got their Galvatron G toy (the Mega/Voyager version).

There's also the transformable Grand Convoy and Grand Scourge toy (if we want to include those).

The Micromaster Collection reissue/redeco of Landcross came out that year too.

Saberblade's right on those points.

I've seen him named Accel, Axxel, Axcel, and Axel. When I put his Japanese name into babelfish, it is translated exactly to Accelerator. Call him whatever you want, though. I don't include straight reissues, but will take the other points into consideration. Thanks for your input.

Those translator sites don't always work right.

Just trying to translate the 1987 Targetmaster Pinpointer's Japanese name with those sites is a nightmare.

We also need the Ultra Magnus Treadshot Battle in a Box set put on this page. It's a pretty good set.

I really want those Robot Masters figures. Especially the Star Saber and Victory Leo figures. I want the Leo Prime figure pretty badly, too... Too many figures... not enough cash...

Which one? The regular one or the DVD one? Lio Convoy, that is.

Well, I really like the DVD one cause he's all shiny, but I really wouldn't mind either. I have the one from BWII but it's huge. It's actually bigger than Universe Nemesis Prime, which I have to laugh at because that guy's name was BIG Convoy in Japan. Guess he has to settle for Medium Convoy now...

Yes, Big Convoy's toy was oddly smaller than the Lio Convoy and Optimus Primal toys.

I wouldn't be surprised if the RM Lio Convoy toy was rereleased as part of the BW Telemocha Series toyline, slightly redecoed to be even more show-accurate. And it's already very show-accurate as it is (save for an added Autobot/G1 Cybertron insignia on his beast mode's neck), so very little would need to be doen to make it perfect like Optimus Primal and Megatron's toys were made.

This site keeps getting better and better. I was srolling down, happily reminded of having both micron boosters and Megazarak (who I actually had to almost completely dissassemble and reassemble the legs on just to fix the part the legs are attatched to). All you guys need now are more character pages here and a couple more screen shots in from the shows for some characters.
Here's a question I have though. Since Energon had numerous homages both in show and by figure, is it possible that the Costco Prime/Overload two pack may have been based in color on Fireguts God Ginrai?
Sabrblade said,  - 2009-01-06 15:29:42
Nah, he's got too much black to be a homage to him. Beisdes, all Fire Guts God Ginrai is is just God Ginrai's body covered in flames. He doen't change color to look like that toy, he just gets on fire and shoots himself at his opponent.
