It's that time of year where the Unicron.com Events and Interview Section starts getting some love!   Check out our complete report from ToyFair 2009, complete with my account of the days events and photo gallery.  Enjoy.

I have to say, Toy Fair this year.....it was just bland. Sure, the new TF stuff they showed was cool and all, as was the new Joe, DC, and Marvel stuff, but what else was there for each brand??? NYCC 09 had more Marvel and DC goodies, the only 'classic' GI Joe items at the Toy Fair were the Hall of Heroes and 7-pack figures, and there weren't ANY new Universe figures and only two Animated. What's the big idea (and I do know that it was mainly concerned with the movie hypes)?

Most impressive indeed!

Animated is ending and Universe is taking a break.

Byreprime, let me ask you this. Is Devastator truely two feet tall? In every image that I've seen him in, I simply cannot picture such a squat bot as he is being that tall. So tell me, just how tall did he look?

Yes, Devastator is at least 20 inches tall even hunched over like that. I didn't have a ruler or anything, but he was visible from every spot in the room. Where the Voyager class figures were color blobs from the other side of the room, Devs was distinguishable from anywhere.

Well, that makes me feel a little better. I just hope he's a full 24 inches so he can combat Fortress/Grand/Brave Maximus.

If he's only 20 inches, than that's just slightly taller than Armada Unicron, which would be a bigger disappointment, considering the current disappointment of his components not having individual robot modes.
