*UPDATED* Power Up Optimus Prime, toy and keychain

Seibertron.com has the first images of the combined form of ROTF Leader Class Optimus Prime and Leader Class Jetfire - called Power Up Optimus Prime!

What role he will play in the film, if any, is currently unknown.

*UPDATE*

New images of this character's keychain have shown up at TFW2005. Since the other keychains pictured with it seem pretty movie-accurate to the CGI models, this could be our first look at what he will look like on screen. See the keychain pics here.

This is awesome! He's even got a BSG (Big Slaggin' Gun)!

Interesting. I get the feel that the combining aspect wouldn't be in the movie, but I could easily be wrong. Considering the complexity of the characters, I would think the two combining would be more complex.
But in case I am wrong, maybe this would have something to do with how Devestator gets defeated.
But I'm still remembering that still unidentified Autobot cargo plane that comes with the mini Optimus too...

...I like the looks of Devastator.
Yeah, the combined Optimus and Jetfire is cool, but man, that Devastator looks wicked!

Looks cool. I wish I could see a bigger pic. Maybe the combined mode is how Prime takes on Devastator??????? Hummmmmmmm.

Now, if any of the leaked information is accurate, then Jetfire started off as a Decepticon, got tired of the war, took off, and ends up an Autobot. That said, why should he even be compatible with Optimus Prime, much less have the ability to combine with him into a "powered up" mode? Unless it was Jetfire's initial purpose to power up another transformer. Maybe leading to why he left, since he didn't want Megatron to use him to win.

Of course I remember the days when Optimus Prime didn't need someone to hop on his back in order to save the day.

Has anyone noticed how Devastator looks like a Quintesson on steroids? Also he reminds of the Bohrok from the Bionicle universe.

Only the toy form looks Bohrok-like. The CGI model looks more humanoid (but still hunched over).

Now this is a combination!

I'm sure that's what will be the turning point in which Prime defeats Devastator. I think it stinks that the vehicles that form Devastator won't have their own individual robot modes. I also think it stinks that there will be no Animated Constructicons, people are being lazy. Why even bother, either have it or don't, none of this "in between" garbage.

I love Primes gun when he's combined with Jetfire!
Another sort of off topic question, did anyone notice that Scorponok was attacking Jetfire in the second trailer? You can tell by looking at his legs.
