I liked the animated storyline but not some of the toys and animations, the robots look like they are part human! ( no offence to animators )

They look "part human", huh. Then I guess you would hate the Super-god Masterforce series. Nearly EVERY Autobot and Decepticon in that series IS part human. XD

Well, that a shame seeing as how Masterforce is, IMHO, one of the coolest and greatest of all the TF series. It's my third favorite, right behind Beast Wars and Animated.

Star Convoy was from the Japanese G1 series Return of Convoy (A.K.A. The Battlestars). "Convoy" is the Japanese name for Optimus Prime (except for the live action movies. The Japanese kept the name "Optimus Prime" for the two films), and Star Convoy was the form of Optimus from said series.

The basic storyline of this series was that Optimus had been ressurected as Star Convoy and led a team of Autobots called the Battlestars, which consisted of Sky Garry, Grandus, and Sixliner (and few other Micromaster allies). Their mission was to defeat to evil Dark Nova, who had also ressurected Galvatron as Super Megatron. Once they defeated Super Megatron, he was rebuilt into Ultra Megatron, but was eventually defeated again. Dark Nova then fused Ultra Megatron together with himself and became the mighty Star Giant! The Battlestars were then swallowed by this colossal monster, but were able to destroy the titan by attacking his interior, tearing him apart from the inside, leaving only his head (which housed the remains of Ultra Megatron) intact from the destruction. Thus allowing the wounded Megatron to survive and reappear again in the G-2 manga.

Would anyone else buy a Star Convoy redeco of the deluxe or voyager version? Preferably with an accompanying downsized leader class Megatron?Activators just doesn't do it for me.
