Hey everybody, I need help coming up with questions for the Hasbro Q&A. Submit your questions below (as news comment or preferrably as forum post) and I will take the best 3 and send them straight to Hasbro on Monday morning.  So, you have the floor, and Hasbro's attention, what do you want to know?

I... I'm completely stumped as to what I should ask. The only things I can think of are ones that I'm sure have been asked before (which I have forgotten the answers to) or ones that likely won't get answered as they would be too spoilerific or secretive to be answered.

EDIT: Now I got one!

When Hasbro released Masterpiece Starscream, it was released in a more show-accurate color scheme compared to its TakaraTomy counterpart. However, Hasbro's Masterpiece Skywarp is colored more accurate towards its G1 toy rather than its cartoon model (G1 toy wing stripes, yellow robot eyes, right-side-up Decepticon insignias on the wings, etc.). Why was it decided to go with a G1-toy-accurate appearance instead of a show-accurate look for the Masterpiece Skywarp figure? And, why does this version lack any of the molding changes from the Starscream figure that the TakaraTomy MP-06 Skywarp does have (particularly the new face)?

Okay, here are some Questions.

1. Will the Dinobots be in the third Transformers movie and if so, can they be a separate race of transformers but have Cybertroian origins?

2. Will Transformers: Animated come back or is it done and over with forever?

3. For future Transformer movies, will Optimus Prime have a trailer compose of Jetfire's old parts so that way, Optimus can go to flight mode if necessary and put Jetfire's spark inside a new jet plane for a new body design?

Ask them if they have ever taken an idea from anyone on this website lol. I remember alot of things that have happened that were almost spooky because of how close they were to what we were talking about. For me it would probably be the resemblance of slipstream from animated to a fanart I was working on a while back that used the same colors and all I posted here but lost the image as geocities closed down https://www.unicron.com/news_item/1070/

Ask them if they will eventually have a live action transformer t.v. series.
Rulerstarscream said,  - 2009-12-05 18:18:33
My question is when dose the next cartoon series come out on television?

At the end of Predicons Rising, Blackarachnia and Waspinator were seen in the jungle looking at a Rhino, Garilla, and a Rat. Is there any hope of following that story line into a future Animated type series.
Sabrblade said,  - 2009-12-05 19:58:25
@Chief: That matter has already been touched upon. The episode script calls the setting at the end of that episode a "primitive Earth-like planet". But, Derrick J. Wyatt encourages us not to read too much into the scene:

"I wouldn't read too much into where they went at the end." - Derrick J. Wyatt, http://twitter.com/DerrickJWyatt/status/1500152931

In other words, he says it's not important, so let's not worry about it. If we must though, my guess is that they warped into the heart of Africa or something, as transwarp technology has only been shown in TFA to be used for spacial travel only, not time travel. After all, they say that, in TFA, transwarp technology is space bridge technology (not "time bridge" or "space-time bridge" technology, just "space bridge").

I have a ton of questions, but I will only submit 2:

1)Since we had the Constructicons in the second moive, will we see more of the combiners in the next film?

2) When will we see Unicron in the movies and if we are are we going to see Primus as well?
megatron said,  - 2009-12-05 22:41:47
@saberfrost that is an awsome question i hope it goes through to hasbro.
my question is.
1. are the rumors true about grimlock mp to hit u.s shelves next year?

2. what will the next tv series be titled?

3. please no more repaints we need more new molds its really getting old!
Overhaul said,  - 2009-12-05 23:46:12
I second Megatron's question about MP Grimlock.

1. Now that Revenge of the Fallen is out and it's the end of 2009, what does the future hold (if any) for the Classics (Universe 2.0) line? Maybe Universe 3.0?

2. Similarly, now that the Animated series has wrapped up, will there be something taking it's place?
Sabrblade said,  - 2009-12-06 00:46:24
I think I can answer some of these questions already.

@Michael010188 - While the Animated cartoon has been finished off, the toyline has not. New figures will be available in Spring 2010.

@TF Fan '85 - While nothing has been stated about combiners in the next film, Hasbro has talked about exploring what the next iteration of combiners and combination play can be. Short answer: stay tuned.

@megatron - Yes, MP Grimlock is getting a Hasbro release. Coming in 2010. As for "no more repaints", that'll never happen cuz 'repaints = $$$'. Plus, we are getting lots of new mold figures in the ROTF NEST Global Alliance toyline.

@Overhaul - the continuation of Classics/Universe is most definitely being discussed.
Blasten Blaster said,  - 2009-12-06 02:20:32
@Sabrfrost: There will never be a live action TV show the time to produce it and cost would be phenomenal. Its about 1 million dollars per minute of CGI. Taking the 4 years of film I have i've tried 3D animators and i nearly destroyed my computer out of anger b/c of the complicatedness.

@TF Fan '85: They havent confirmed nor denied if Unicron or planet size TF will be in the next movie but it has been stated that the problem with bigger TF's is that you take away from the human aspect of the TF universe. theres a difference between a human standing next to a 12-35 foot robot like Skids or Optimus rather than next to a 125 foot robot like Devastator or planet size like Unicron.

Is Hasbro going to re-release any 10th anniversary Beast Machine figures as they did with Beast Wars a few years ago?
Overhaul said,  - 2009-12-06 12:25:46
Well, as an add on to my question; if MP Grimlock is released, what would be the proposed price tag for him?
As Megatrons' distaste for repaints, I can see where he's coming from, Hasbro seems to be getting quite lazy nowadays... but I think if used more scarcely, repaints can be cool. Plus, it at the very least lets those of us who have missed a particular mold get our hands on it.
Chief said,  - 2009-12-06 13:08:32
Sorry ya'll, but I missed something. MP Grimlock?? From all the comments I take its going to be a repaint, but what is MP stand for?
Sabrblade said,  - 2009-12-06 13:51:19
MP Grimlock = Masterpiece Grimlock. He is not a repaint, he is a new mold entirely. He will be the fifth Masterpiece figure released by Hasbro following the two Optimus Primes, Starscream, and Skywarp.
Michael010188 said,  - 2009-12-06 16:29:08
Okay, here's a new question; can there be a Toho/Transformers mix for a tv series or comics. Also, for videogames, can they make a Transformers game base off the concept of "Mass Effect", "Knights of the Old Republic", and "Dragon Age"???????

Think of it as Godzilla Prime.
Jumpercliff said,  - 2009-12-06 18:58:35
Okay: Three ideas for questions-

1. Have Transformers-themed Direct-to-DVD movies been considered?

2. With all the talk of how 'if it doesn't have Prime or Megatron, kids won't get it', will there ever be an all-new TF storyline and toyline where the rest of the characters OTHER THAN Prime or Megatron have completely new-and-original names? We need some fresh blood (or oil) sometime.

3. Unless there were others who missed what the Nov. 5th press conference announced, would the idea of a Transformers cartoon in the style of "Justice League Unlimited" (where they get guest actors and have more dramatic plots, obviously) be a good idea for both the kid-and-adult range?
Michael010188 said,  - 2009-12-06 19:49:29
@sabrblade we dont want your answers we want hasbro to answer so i erased your coments!
megatron said,  - 2009-12-06 19:58:18
@chief mp stands for "masterpiece". look for them at bbts.com :)
Bellprime said,  - 2009-12-06 20:28:45
1. Will Scrapper & Hightower come out in toys that transform? Maybe, in Deluxe or Voyager Sizes.

2. Why not show Cybertron & Unicron in planet & robot mode in Transformers3?

3. Will Kup come back in toy or, movie form?
Blasten Blaster said,  - 2009-12-07 01:32:59
@Michael010188: DO NOT!!! use the "help remove inappropriate comments" unless it actually contains inappropriate words or content. It is not a toy to use if you simply don't like something someone has posted. You do not speak for anyone here but your self.

Personaly if it were me I want my question answered asap as long it 100% correct.

@Bellprime if Animated Scrapper & Hightower do come out they will be a 2-pack both being deluxe size.
mightwork said,  - 2009-12-07 04:33:44
Okay, I've got two

1. If you release the third arcee sister, will you release the trio in a box set?
2. Will The Fallen ever see a leader class release?
Sabrblade. said,  - 2009-12-07 08:00:24
@Michael010188 - As Blasten Blaster put it, DO NOT do that. I have restored my comments that you deleted.

@Bellprime - Hasbro stated that they are done making new ROTF Constructicon molds. So, all that we're getting are the molds of Voyager Demolishor, Deluxe Rampage, Voyager Mixmaster, Voyager Long Haul, Supreme Devastator, FAB Long Haul, and Legends Devastator (plus redecos of some of these molds).
Perceptor said,  - 2009-12-07 11:34:57
Here are the questions I selected from those you gave me. A little consolidation, a little tweeking... vioala!

1.) We are wondering about other means to disperse Transformers fiction. Have Transformers direct-to-DVD movies been considered? Is a live-action Transformers television series a possibility? Is there any chance that the story and characters of Transformers Animated could live on in comic book form? (C'mon, PLEASE!? We still *really* miss Animated!)

2.) We received lots of questions about the near future of Transformers 2010. (Take your pick!) Will ROTF be the "primary" /featured sub-line of Transformers in 2010? Classics/Universe 3.0 a possibility? Will the third ROTF Arcee motorcycle sister be released? How about ROTF Scrapper or HighTower, or a Voyager scale Bonecrusher (with pop-off head!)?

3.) In 1996 Hasbro released a series of Beast Wars figures to commemorate the 10th anniversary of that series. Any plans to commemorate the forthcoming 10th of Beast Machines? (We'd still love to see a Botanica!) Or show accurate color releases of the other characters.
Sabrblade. said,  - 2009-12-07 12:18:55
Some parts of that second question already have been answered.

Regarding Classics/Universe continuing:
"...the Universe line ended once the Revenge of the Fallen product line hit shelves on May 30th. Therefore, there will be no new development for this line moving forward.
However, the design intentions behind the Universe line, such as reimagining our heritage characters, will continue in some form or fashion in the future."

Regarding the third Arcee bike:
"We certainly have full intentions of releasing all three of the motorcycles with the third motorcycle being Elita-1. All three motorcycles will combine together and we plan to release instructions on how to achieve this combination when the time comes."

Regarding Scrapper/Hightower toys:
"Unfortunately, there are no plans at this time to release any additional Constucticons past those that we have currently announced."
And:
"As we were planning out the line, we decided to focus on the four that had more screen time versus Scrapper and Hightower, thus giving them more of a reason to exist in our line."

Regarding Voyager Bonecrusher:
"Although Bonecrusher is certainly a cool character from the first movie, we felt that because he was not a major character or part of Revenge of the Fallen, it made more sense for us to focus on including more iconic characters and vehicle forms within the Voyager and Leader scales. Thus, we do not have any plans at this time to release Bonecrusher in either of these scales in the immediate future."

Hey guys, I didn't make that comment about erasing anybody's thoughts. Someone used my name, because the "third" entry with my name on it doesn't have "edit comment" option for me. So, I just got framed by Decepticon.

There has been a lot of debate among fans as to whether Alpha Trion is one of the Original 13, especially now since at BotCon, you guys firmly established that the Thirteen were multiversal singularities. According to the original G1 cartoon episode, The Key to Vector Sigma part 2, Alpha Trion says that he is a "first generation product of Vector Sigma." (Vector Sigma being the physical embodiment of Primus). Also, according to his More Than Meets the Eye bio from Dreamwave, Alpha Trion is believed to be one of the Original 13, and in the Ultimate Guide, he is stated to be Primus' chosen guardian of Cybertron. So the question is this: Is Alpha Trion one of the Original Thirteen first created by Primus himself?
