Considerably more than we were allowed to see at Botcon, the attendees of China's CybertronCon got to see character renders from the upcoming series, Transformers: Prime.  Now, thanks to TFClub, we can see them too! Click THIS PAGE to see them all. Major highlights include:

>>Transformers Prime: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee (w/ car mode) Ratchet, Cliffjumper,  Arcee.  Which leaves TFP Bulkhead as the only core character we have not yet seen!
>>As well as Decepticons: Megatron and DecepticonDecepticon Troopers.
>>Human companions.

Combining some of the most amazing elements from Animated, the live movie and G1 I think we're in for quite a treat.  Can't wait to see what this thing live!!!

I just hope that bulkhead doesnt act like he did in Animated!

that's a shared hope saberfrost.
Hears hoping for an ironhide type caricter.

Although animated bolkhead was an interesting caricter, i don't feel that the caricter would translate well to computer generated action.
the wfc verse seems to be a lot mor serious so i am betting on a gruff kind of caricter.

I don't understand why Bulkhead is even hear in the furst place if i'm honest.
shurely ironhide would make a better member to optimus prime's team

Really??? That's funny, I was just thinking the exact opposite. That I hope he acts and is exactly the same character as TFA Bulkhead. I DIG that dude.

I agree with Perceptor, TFA Bulkhead was the BOMB. More please. Now I just want TFP to have an Omega Supreme that turns into the Ark at about a $200 price point, and can accomodate a small army of deluxe sized toys!! :) I'll take that and every recolor they make!

Well, for those of you wishing for strong continuity with TF: Prime and past series, I have good news and bad news.

The bad news is that TF: Prime, War For Cybertron, and Exodus are all simply incompatible with previous Transformers series. For starters, it was explicitly stated at Cybertron Con by the show's creators that TF: Prime is NOT in the same reality as the live action movie media, so that's ruled out. And the fact that it takes place after War For Cybertron/Exodus makes it not work with the G1 cartoon for many reasons. And what's very irritating is the fact that Exodus is incompatible with War For Cybertron. That's right. The very book that was supposed to tie in with the video game it was based on is a total contradiction of said video game. Outrageous? Yes, but sadly true.

The good news is that TF:Prime is set up to be the foundation for a completely new continuity that is planned to last for several years to come. Yes, in a move identical to how G1 lasted for SEVEN years, and then CONTINUED through the likes of G2, Beast Wars and Beast Machines, TF:Prime is planned out to be a multi-year-long franchise that will continue to grow and expand year after year within its single continuity. This is truly a remarkable feat of attemption, as such has never happened before since the days of G1 itself.

i would go for the omega supreme at $ or £200 price point if it could acomidate an army of dlx's. that would conseptually be one sweet and frustratingly heavy tf lol.

in relation to the exidus and wfc not being compatable, i think we've got a splintered timeline again.
but hear's the question. what is the wft universe called as in the universal streem number because then we would have a splinter line to work from

Dude, clearly it takes some imagination, but the creators behind Exodus clearly intend to blaze a path that connects G1 with Movie-verse and beyond. There's a whole page in Exodus about Tygr Pax and how Optimus Prime launches the Allspark into space... And and endless number of other connections between the OP and Megatron of Exodus with Armada, G1, Beast Wars...

Look, it's not just the author, Alex Irvine is clearly very connected to Hasbro insiders. In this book he talks about Liege Maximo... and other lore of the original 13...

They may very well wind up with a 'splintered timeline' universe. But it seems to me, the goal of this book is to unite the various fiction/continuities (as I've been begging for, for years!) Say what you will about TF:Prime, but I think you will find it goes to great length to do the same. Time will tell...

More info on this to come!
