News from inside TFCC magazine #35

Before, we saw the cover of this magazine featuring Generations Wreck-Gar and Perceptor. Now, thanks to TFW2005, we have information (but sadly no pics) on what lies inside the 35th issue of the Transformers Collectors' Club magazine.

According to their sources, this issue of the club magazine shows off images of the upcoming Generations figures Wreck-Gar (in both modes), Perceptor, and Turbo Tracks. While we have recently seen images of these figures (save for Wreck-Gar's altmode), the magazine revealed some new info not seen or known until now.

Since BotCon, it became known that several Legends Class figures based on iconic G1 characters would be coming soon, and now another new one is revealed: Trailcutter (a modern day update of G1 Trailbreaker).

Also, a few days ago, a Wal-Mart listing reported a Deluxe Optimus Prime figure (even though that news was aimed around Wreck-Gar), and now the magazine reveals that this new Optimus will be a Deluxe figure based on the G2 Laser Optimus Prime figure, complete with a windowed chest (that will feature real windows instead of false ones) and a sword!

To top it all off, the magazine reveals that Masterpiece Rodimus Prime will be seeing a U.S. Hasbro release (Hooray!)... without his trailer (Darn it!). To make up for this loss, addtional accessories may be included in the U.S. release that aren't part of the Japanese version. Still, the loss of the trailer is a loss of many of the toy's fun features (and makes his Rodimus Prime robot form lack a true altmode), but only time will tell if these new accessories can make up for that loss of playability. As for his availability, he will be a store exclusive of some kind.

perceptor is a must i'm not too sure about reckgar.

japanese version of rodimus looks like the way to go if he doesn't have trailer in the us.

I'm actually tempted with the US Rodimus release. For one, it may actually appear locally (even in Aus) which automatically makes it cheaper than a Jap import and with the absence of the trailer, cheaper again. In my case, he's gonna be displayed in robot mode which means the trailer is just gonna get in the way. Be curious also to see what extra accessories he gets.

I like the idea of a US Rodimus masterpiece release. I wonder if they could do some sort of mail-away coupon so people could pay extra for the trailer if they want it, but still keep the shelf price point at the level retailers want.
