Excited about the new Kup toy? Ya wanna see more pics of it? Your wish has been granted, as KOToys has a new gallery of images of the Generations Sergeant Kup figure. Yes, it would appear that the Western release of this figure will be called "Sergeant Kup," despite being sold in the Generations line rather than under the Reveal the Shield label. I may have to get this one, I love Kup. I think this is a younger version of him though, hence the Sergeant rank. Though his face looks old still. The figure looks awesome though.

...That toy is all kinds of awesome sauce! Perhaps the next Unicron.com Accessory set should include a robo-stogie (cigar!) for the ole Autobot veteran! Just kidding, such a thing is *not* in the works!!!

Y'know, I'm really looking forward to this toy. Can't believe I'm going to say this, but yeah, maybe even more than I'm looking forward to the Generations Perceptor. Perceptor re-imagined as a snow-cat type ATV... It's cool, but somehow doesn't fire me up as much as seeing this Kup as an old-school truck. Looks absolutely perfect to me!

I just wish they'd one day make a Kup who's show-accurate is both modes. G1 Kup had a show-accurate altmode, but a wonky Robot Mode. Here's it's kinda vice-versa (I say "kinda" because the Robot Mode on this Kup is definitely inspired by the G1 animation model, it isn't an exact match).

I know that that idea isn't really high on Hasbro's list of priorities (and that they like to do new things more than just take something old and make it a little better), but it would still be nice.

this kup is a must for me i have to say. he looks amazing.

I know I may have said the whole 'cy-gar' from the IDW comics feels a bit silly to me, but I'm almost digging the idea of giving the figure one!
What other goodies should go into this (purely hypothetical) Accessory set?
Maybe a transforming Headmaster head for Universe 2.0 Sunstreaker? Or the 'Magnificence' from the HotRod Spotlight? Maybe a bit more elaborate, but a pre- Pretender Bludgeon from the Storm Bringer seres (let's face it, we all remember Bludgeons' Pretender shell, but not so much his normal bot form, until IDW cooked up the freaky looking, jaw-less version of him for that comic).
Again Perceptor, I understand this is all a what if. But it can't help some of us from dreaming :-).

orion did get the treatment of g1 kup in to but i'm not sure.
this kup is an earth mode so it's mor likely to be something else
