Unicron.com's Advance Copy of Transformers Prime!

To our delight, earlier today we too became the lucky recipients of an advance copy of Transformers Prime episodes 1-2 on DVD!  Expect our in-depth report soon.  In the meantime, our first impressions:

This series is a dark, high-budget animated version of the live action films, without the influence of Michael Bay or the time limits of being single feature film.  Transformers characters have personality, in a plot intentionally integrated with pre-existing continuity.   --and oh, by the way, FRANK WELKER is BACK!!!!!

Oh, and 1 more thing.  Stay tuned! The NEW Unicron.com is coming!!!

Be sure to let us know if the death in episode 1 carries over to episode 2.

Pwa-hahahahahahaha... My bros and I bust a gut laughing, trying to figure out how to answer this...

To simply say yes would be an understatement. Like saying, is Unicron big? Yes.

Just to clarify, Hasbro said this series follows Exodus, WFC, and some intermediate events that are similar to the movies, but aren't the movies themselves (speaking in regards to official canon, as fanon can bend these rules since it's not official).

Also, tell me someone else besides me has read the Prime graphic novel comic? It's definitely worth a read, as it's really enjoyable and (apparently) leads directly into Episode 1.

Regarding the TF: Prime prequel Graphic Novel: Read it & LOVED it! I couldn't agree with Sabrblade more on this one. Totally pick a copy up for yourself. It's a great 90+ page read, and a wonderful way to get into a Prime mindset!
