Exchange between actors after shooting of scene where Spyke and girl hold hands--

Spyke,"You realize we lived. That means we have to live happily ever after in all the sequiels"

Girl,"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

She kinda gives you the impression that the girl is Karli, Spike's wife(and girl friend) in the cartoon series whether she's blond or not.

After seeing that image, I'm thinking Carly Who?
And who cares if it's Carly or not! Dang, she fine.

Kidding aside, In my own imaginary world of thinking about Transformers mythos, I'm picturing this as Sam Witwicky the grandson or great-grandson of Spike Witwicky of the original cartoon series. This is going to be the same G1 Optimus Prime in new form (because it's Cullen), with all the Autobots coming back to Earth anew, following the ending of the great war(s) against Unicron..., stories told in the animated TFTM... Whether this is the "original G1 Megatron" or some new upstart Decepticon leader, doesn't matter to me. Hopefully, there'll be *some* conceivable way we can imagine this story fitting into the rest of the Transformers mythos... We'll see.

It's a reboot... another one at that, why can't we all just accept that?

We can't accept that because, we want all of the various tf lines to fit together somehow. We just have to make the connections ourselves.
