Lots of Transformers Movie related info all in one go today...

HASBRO have posted a viewable commercial for Transformers Movie toys HERE

Star Wars website REBEL SCUM has also added images from a Star Wars preview booklet which includes vehicle mode images of the Star Wars Transformers Snowspeeder, Imperial Walker and Clone Tank in both modes, as well as additional images of The Darth Vader Death Star and the The recolored twin pack of Darth Vader Tie Fighter and Obiwan Kenobi's Jedi Starfighter as well as a number of other Star Wars toys including a 33/4" scale ARC 170 in the same clone wars snake like deco seen on the Transformers version released some months ago.

The Novelisation of "The Transformers A Michael Bay Film" has just been published in North America and it seems to be based on an earlier version of the script as Brawl is still called Devastator and the Allspark device is still called the Energon Cube the Novel and the Prequel Novel can both be purchased via Amazon.com HERE & HERE.

Transformers the Movie Director Michael Bay seems to have gotten his way and now the North American release of the Live Action Movie will now take place a day early on the 3rd July though the movie will also get a 4000 seat LA premier on the 27th of June at the LA film Festival - not to mention also  showing at Botcon.
Italy will have the world Premier of the Transformers Live Action Movie at the Taormina Film fest from the 16th to 21st of June then shortly after the at the end of the Month is the Australian release of the movie.

Also at TFW2005 they report one a fantastic new fan made project of IDW's Hearts of Steel Optimus Prime made to a completely professional standard - a resin cast prototype of this item can be found on E-bay HERE

They then went on too report that this will be available later in the year as a multi color self assembly kit or cast alternatively in Black plastic.

TFW2005 also reports on new Transformers the Movie Roleplay toys called T.E.C.H. *Transformers Electronic Combat Hardwear* including Digital Dagger & Quick Bow found via E-bay auctions.

TFW2005 also report on a number of images of new Transformers the Movie items including Payload, Real Gear Robot videogame controller Highscore 100, Final Battle Jazz, and Videogame character Longarm in this Thread HERE the original information comes from TFCLUB HERE.

Incidentally despite being officially a Videogame character Longarm actually strongly resembles a vehicle seen in the actual movie as well.

There is also a new version of MP-03 Starscream that has come to light as reported HERE it was previously auctioned by S250 on E-bay and is supposed to be the Hasbro version of the Masterpiece Starscream released in Japan only this time in a more Television show like decoration.

I hope this information is of some help.

I just love how you can't make out a thing on the tiny picture of Jazz, yet everyone claims that it looks good. Oh well, at least we have an official picture of the updated Bumblebee figure, which means that it can't take too much time for the figure to be released. But seriously, why all the excitement over Jazz? I don't need 2 Jazz figures unless the new one is significantly different like what they did with the 2 BBs. If it is the same figure but with scratches on it, then I'll have to pass. That Prime looks cool though. Thanks for the pics.

I hope they release the American version in cartoon colors. I hope this isn't just a fan paint job. I have the Japanese version, it is very cool but the colors just suck.
