New Power Core Combiner toy revealed

Transformers fan sites are lighting up today with pictures from an anonymous source through S250. These pictures depict what looks to be a bit larger Un-named second figure from the Power-Core line than previously seen Huffer/Caliburst (also pictured in the gallery). Information of note in these pictures is that this new Decepticon has the word "commander" written underneath him. Could he be a more central piece to a combiner? He appears to have four blue cube looking protrusions on him (shoulders and legs)... Power-cores anyone? The term "Minicon" is used on the packaging to describe his partner "Chopster" who is listed as having 4 modes! Robot, Vehicle Weapon, Robot Weapon (Ax), Power-up armo (Combiner chest plate perhaps). Drop by the forum an let us know what you think.

I think this image is photoshoped or is a fake.

They ain't fakes. Huffer & Caliburst and the Decepticon firetruck & "Chopster" are real, all right.

It's like Targetmasters and Breast Animals mixed with glorified Powerlinking all at once.

Ok why is hasbro not telling us if this is of the new show? Is Power Core Combiner the new show? Why not tell us? Is this just some toy line. If so i don't care. If this is of the new show then all Right. Give me more! If hasbro not giving out info. Then i hope there going to tell us everything on the new show at BotCon.
Right now all i want to know is. Is power core combiners the new show?!?!?

Power Core????? Why are we just now hearing about these????

@Lawson - Power Core combiners is a subline to whatever this toyline is.

I share Lawson's ambition for the new show, I remember the dark ages of the late 80's early 90's with out the shows or figures, but it'll be here this fall. I'm more interested on a release date for these new figures.

If this is just a toy line. Like how the Machine wars were. Then who cares. Thanks to TF2 will never get an animated season4. Will have to wait months for animated RC & all the others. TF2 was cool. But i still wood have liked to have seen a season4 to end the show in a real way. What i'm saying is if this is just a new toy line & not for the new show then this toy line will get in the way of the toys for the new show. Animateds toy line came out 6 months late thanks to the TF1 movie toys. When TF3 comes out will we lose the new show or will the toy take the hit?
We don't need just a new toy line we need to know is this line for the new show??

Good points. But a big part of the lose of TFA was do to Cartoon Network putting it on at 6AM and bumping it for their own original (awful) programming. The rumors are that the new show will somehow play into the Univers/Classics lines. But don't forget that Hasbro is also planning figures for the War For Cybertron game later this year. Maybe these figures will play into the on going comic?

Your right cartoon network did the same to energon & cybertron. They did put the last season of TFA on Saturdays. I just wood like for hasbro to come out & say hey the new TF Cartoons name is.? Maybe the'll tell us at Botcon.

I'm disappointed. I expected more of a combining aspect to this new line. We don't get any good combiners anymore, it's about time.

The figure looks fine on its own merits though. There's something about a Decepticon with a giant axe that I just like.

Upon closer inspection, I actually think that the guy turns into a streetsweeper. Who here agrees?
Deceptitron said,  - 2010-01-21 22:33:17
I wish they'd do a bigger combiner set. A Voyager class commander and 4 Deluxe class followers. Just as long as they can pose right, not like the Energon combiners and their repaints.

But the package looks a bit funky.
