Imax poster, Japanese Mini-cons, UK "powerwheels", MP-07 Skywarp

There's a new image of the movie poster for the Imax release of Transformers.  You can check it out here.  Thanks to Seibertron.com for the heads up.

Over at comicsnexus.insidepulse.com there is a review of the repainted Classics Mini-con Predator Attack Team.  This is a Japanese exclusive.  The repainted team are now Maximals rather than Decpticons.

For those of you in the UK, Argos is now selling battery powered Transformers brand bikes.  Theres a quad Optimus and a tri Bumblebee

It should come as no suprise that Takra/Tomy would try to capitalize on the sucsess of the masterpiece line.  I am more suprised at how long it took to float the rumor that there will be a MP Thundercraker, than I am at the fact there may be one.  Hobby Link Japan (hlj.com) has images of MP-06 Skywarp up for viewing.  One of the thumbnails along the right side shows three F-15s in formation grey, black, and blue.

Eh, already saw it once, why see it again on a bigger screen with a cool name?
Chaos Bringer said,  - 2007-09-01 10:02:19
It will have new footage. They had to scap a lot of scenes for budgetary reasons, but the enormous success of the movie has given them the money they needed to finish them. Prime vs Barricade?
Character development for Jazz?
Decepticon banter?

O yes, this will definitely be worth seeing.

HOW DID YOU FIND THAT OUT! New freaking scenes Prime vs. Barricade?! Son of B!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whens the release date?!
Chaos Bringer said,  - 2007-09-01 12:21:59
A fight with Prime and Barricade was planned but was later cut. Whether any of the scene was actually filmed or not is unknown. It is safe to assume that any new scenes will be used to fill in any plot holes that viewers noticed. And since this is an IMAX release, there is little doubt that they will want to show off as much cgi as possible. So yes, we will probably see the fight. They did want to include it all along anyway but now they have the money to do it.

I so wish I could see this, no IMAX near my school. The closest is 2 hours drive. Perhaps make a roadtrip with people.

hey Chaos i answered your question about the easter eggs on the 20th dvd in the new post where you asked about it i hope it helps

Thanks humanerror, that helped. I can't wait to watch those Diaclone ads.
I love Diaclone. How come we never got cool stuff like Great Robot Base or Fortress X? Hasbro could have just called the pilots "Nebulans" and it would have worked perfectly. Someone really needs to make some high quality Diaclone KOs or I might go CrAzY.

READ THIS!!!!!! Every body! Go to Transformers animated .com! Its been updated!

What is this "Transformers Animated" you speak of. I tried to find the website but all that came up was "Go-Bots Animated." It looks awful. apparently It's about heroic robots that for whatever earthly reason wear spandex. They fight human supervillains with no clear motives. They are just generic "grr... I'm going to take over the world and right now I'm going to say out loud how I'll do it so you can find a way to stop me" types. The robots are followed everywhere by some stupid little human kid because someone told Hasbro that we like that. Once in a blue moon some other robots show up and try to look tough but always lose anyway.
So How's Transformers Animated? I hope it's better that that Go-Bots animated show I've been reading about.

What? Did you type in: www.transformersanimated.com ?
Master Dex said,  - 2007-09-02 15:15:48
Starscream, I believe Chaos Bringer was being heavily sarcastic because he isn't liking the way Animated is going.
Chaos Bringer said,  - 2007-09-02 22:01:23
Yes I was being sarcastic. I don't like how animated is going because I feel that it will turn off casual science fiction fans. I grew up in the Beast era, when Transformers was seen as serious and completely legitimate science fiction. I think that Animated will be seen as just a kid's show and toyline. I really hope I am wrong about it but everytime I hear "human supervillains" I cringe.

Don't abandon all hope yet Chaos Bringer. Animatied could still turn out better than you expect.

Megagalvacron--Excatly what kind of respone do you want from people? I read your comment. You didn't like it. To be honest, you are the only thing that even made me aware that this movie existed. Since I didn't know or care about it before you said it blows, why would I watch it now? Esspecially when you gave no real discription of what the movie is.

"Don't abandon all hope yet Chaos Bringer"

It is... too late.. for me.
I hate how Animated is making me like the movie ranters. But unlike them, I don't want to be proven right. I really want to be wrong about it. But then, that would require Hasbro to be wrong about the show when they said there would be human supervillains.

Your a party pooper Chaos.
megatron said,  - 2007-09-03 22:09:16
