The New York Post is reporting that a woman has filed a lawsuit aganst Paramount.  Apparently she had the copyright to the "bee-otch" air freshiner seen hanging from '78 Bumblebee's rearview mirror.

Tformers.com has a gallery of upcoming Transformers Moive related merchindise.  It apears we will be getting an Allspark Cube.

Also at Tformers.com are images of Stealth Bumblebee & a red Dropkick.

Transformers Animated will begin airing Saturday January 5 at 9:30 central time on Cartoon Network.  It appears this will be it's normal time slot.  Make sure to check your local listings for correct air time.  Thanks to Sabrblade for the heads up!

At last, decent pics of Stealth BB. Or should I say, ANY pics of it. I like that new head, hopfully it's:
a) removable
b) colored like the regular BB

I don't wanna have to repaint it myself. It won't look pretty.

for those who have the TFCC mag., we have seen a good pic of Stealth BB about two months ago. :-P

Hey, ya know what's bull sh#T?! I got back from the mall yesterday, and the only classics figure they had was a classics OptimusPrime. I was gonna get him, but, they were selling him for 30 bucks. But, the good news is I got some other good stuff. I won't tell cause I'll feel like I'm braging.

it ain't braggin, please share!
chicane said,  - 2007-12-30 13:20:04
That woman who filed the law-suit WAS a bee-otch.
notgonnatellya said,  - 2007-12-30 15:22:29
That woman deserves to win her lawsuit. Her copyrighted product was used in a movie without her consent AND marketed without her consent without ever recieving a dime. Plus, people have began to think she's knocking off the movie and losing money in the process. Anyone saying she was wrong to try to claim her money is essentially supporting acts illegal under U.S. law, at least until they're the victim.
Sabrblade said,  - 2007-12-30 15:36:03
You some proof that she's the victim? Or are you "notgonnatellus". :P
Tyscream said,  - 2007-12-30 15:43:08
Bruticus_42, you really want me to brag? Okay. Well, at the mall yesterday/ December 29 I got: the transformation Venom and Peter Parker spiderman 3 minimates pack, Hobgoblin and Scarlet Spider marvel minimates pack, lego Bionicle Nocturn, Star Wars 30th anniversary Voolif Monn figure. Today I got with a gift card: Star Wars 30th anniversary signature series Darth Vader, new Wizard Toyfare mag., decepticon ornament, and Transformers movie Payload. Lucky me. Well, hope ya enjoy ma bragging Bruticus_42. ^_^

In fairness to both the woman and Paramount, at this point there is no proof as to who retianed the rights to the pharse/logo. That is what a judge will decide. It seems like it would be a fairly simple judgement to make, but there are lots and lots of little technicalities that can greatly affect the final decision.

quick question... wen TF:G1 came out, was it really named "G1" back then? or was it formerly named "G1" after it came out... how would they kno that there would be more generations of transformers?
Tramp said,  - 2007-12-30 17:35:13
Actually Knightwing, yes there is proof of her ownership of the copyrights. On all actual licensed "BEE-OTCH" Airfresheners, her copyright notice is clearly printed under the word "BEE-OTCH" with the date 2002, the year she created the design. Dreamworks did infringe upon her copyrights.
Master Dex said,  - 2007-12-30 17:43:19
To Autobutt: No it wasn't called G1 until there was a Generation 2, back then it was just The Transformers.
Tramp said,  - 2007-12-30 17:46:20
Autobutt, G1 was not originally referred to as G1, That didn't come into effect until just a few years ago. Originally, it was just TransFormers.
Knightwing said,  - 2007-12-30 19:26:12
For that matter, G1 isn't "offically" anything. It is simply a commonly accepted term used to refer to the first series/continum of Transformers. All series/universes after G1 have had some form of subtitle Generation 2, Beast Wars, Armada, ect.. But, strictly speaking "Transformers" with no attached reference would be G1.

And Tramp - I agree with you. It seems obvious, but you never know until the judge rules.

Animated is going to do juuuuuussssssttttt fine.
Sabrblade said,  - 2007-12-30 21:44:23
ON TOPIC!!!!!: I'll take that All Spark Cube once it comes out, but is it just a cube, or a Rubik's Cube?
Perceptor said,  - 2007-12-31 08:34:45
I want to know how big is that cube? Are we talking 1 inch by 1 inch by 1 inch? or is will it be big enough to put it in a set-up and have it look 'to scale' with it's huge size before Bumblebee shrunk it inside Hoover dam?
Sabrblade said,  - 2007-12-31 11:27:58
I looks to me like it's the size of regular Rubik's Cube. But I wonder if it IS one or not.
Crisfromcal said,  - 2007-12-31 12:42:12
The one who really should be sueing Paramount (and that lady) is the originator of that phrase: the legendary Oakland rapper Too $hort. He's been saying that in his albums since the 80's. I wonder what Too $hort thinks of these Bee-otches??
Autobutt said,  - 2007-12-31 14:11:37
ok thanks for answering my question

thatd be really cool if that allspark cube was a rubik's cube.. but it would be kinda tough to figure out the sides wouldnt it? i like stealth BB =]
Sabrblade said,  - 2007-12-31 15:30:07
Which is why I hope it's not a Rubik's Cube. But I also don't want it to be JUST a cube that does nothing. I want it to have some gimmick (aside from an LED light-up bulb).
deceptifan said,  - 2007-12-31 15:49:19
cool allspark
Tyscream said,  - 2007-12-31 17:54:01
Hey guys. Happy new years and, I wanted to know. Have any of your family members ever said your spoiled for always getting Transformers and or other stuff? If not, have you ever thought that, in a way? I really don't think I am, but my parents and brother tell me some times they think I have to much stuff. To me it's a hobby collecting figures and stuff.
Knightwing said,  - 2007-12-31 18:45:58
There are phycologists that suggest that any kind of collection is a problem and all collectors are infact horders. :) More to your point - yes you're spoiled. If you have to ask then the answer is yes. And, yes I'm spoiled too. In fact I noticed the other day how much stuff Oricle and I have on our not massivly large income. I realized we aren't unique in this fact. Most people in the USA are to some extent spoiled. :)
Tyscream said,  - 2007-12-31 19:25:35
Yo guys. Michael Bay just said on TFW2005.com that Transformers 2's robots will be unique and there will be more, and happy New Years. Yo Knightwing, mind posting this?!
chicane said,  - 2007-12-31 21:05:05
makes no sense. If we see an extra holding a can of coke in the movie, is coke gonna sue like there's no tomorrow? this is actually a good thing. Now her product is getting free publicity, and sales will go up. Also, I'm getting sick of repaints.
Autobutt said,  - 2008-01-01 00:34:54
haha LED lights in allspark cube... thatd be funny

also i really dont like topics this.. the BEE-OTCH thing its really annoying that she has to make a big deal about it and its really annoying that no one botherd to tell her about it yah wen it comes to things like this i dont like taking sides
Scorpomike said,  - 2008-01-01 03:41:52
That lady is an f'n bee-otch if you want my opinion. The only thing I'd buy out of all that merchandise is the All Spark Cube, they can keep the rest of it. Of course, the repaints, I'll never shut up, I hate repaints, they're too many of them. As far as the Amimated show goes, I'm recording every episode of it and watching it over and over again.
Stevie said,  - 2008-01-01 08:57:30
Been a while since I've checked out the site... LOL But wow, Stealth Bumble Bee rocks... What an awesome repaint ^_^ As for that lady... Yes, she is a Bee-Otch...
chicane said,  - 2008-01-01 12:34:44
Ain't it great unicron.com is pretty much unknown to the public except for transformers fans? Imagine if people from the media read what we're typin'. WE WOULD BE IN BIG TROUBLE. You know, I could understand why that lady would be mad, but she's a woman, and b*tch is a term used to put down a woman, and that's not right.
Chaos Bringer said,  - 2008-01-01 13:29:04
Listen to me. If Paramount sold the Bee-Otch air freshener as their own product then that woman is not in the wrong here. She isn't suing over the cameo her product made in the movie. She is suing for money Paramount made by selling a product that was legally hers and claiming it as their own. She isn't being a "Bee-Otch" as you say. She came up with an idea, copyrighted it, sold it, and then someone else sold it without her permission and made a ton of money. She's entitled to that money.

End of story. Reason has spoken.
Scorpomike said,  - 2008-01-04 01:53:20
The word beeotch has been around for a long time, that lady didn't come up with that word, I think I'm going to make an air freshener that says the word "phuc" on it. That lady is a stupid beeotch. Two people can come up with the same idea.

End of Story. Reason has spoken.
treadbolt said,  - 2008-01-05 15:01:01
hey all, i consider myself a huge fan of transformers....ok im obsessive about it and i usually try to defend anything to do with transformers but i must agree with chaos bringer, the bee-otch was her design her trademark and theyr taking her money. i think she is completly in the right andshe shouldget every dime owed to her.
Chaos Bringer said,  - 2008-01-06 20:03:09
Exactly. It's not the word. It's the logo and the word together. That's what she copyrighted, and that's what Paramount sold as their own.
