As you cam see, our mainpage has been given a slight facelift.  In all liklihood, this will not be our look for terribly long.  But it is a new year and I needed a change from that so-called, "live" image of Movie Cybertron.  Hope you like the change!

...  "Check out our newly uploaded 2008 Transformers Section now available for your viewing pleasure.  Here we are, 11 days into the year & it 's already a formidable compilation of toys and info!  You'll find over new toy 50 box pix (better start saving!) and an Animated style background to the left with episode titles and synopsis, as provided us by Cartoon Network (be warned, it contain spoilers) for the first season, (13 episodes) of Transformes: Animated.

We'll try to get box pix 'connected' to our database listings so they appear on sightings and review pages soon...  Hang on to your hats everyone, its going to be another great year to be a fan of Transformers!

Oh, and don't forget, a new episode of Transformers Animated (#3 Blast from the Past) airs Saturday and Sunday on Cartoon Network.

You mean #6 Blast from the Past.
#3 was Transform and Roll Out Part 3.
#4 was Home is Where the Spark Is.
#5, Total Meltdown, is being skipped for some reason (probably cuz all it does is introduce a new supervillian).

Holy Crap! They're doing Beast Wars Robot Heroes now? I'm gonna have to get those. And why couldn't Nightwatch Optimus Prime be Nemesis Prime?
Luketroop said,  - 2008-01-11 14:07:16

Related: Hey, for StarWars Transformers for 2008 there should be Commander Cody, Luke Skywalker snow speeder and so on! Non related: Well, I suppose this a mini blog for me. I feel sick, some teenager in my town died (don't know him), I MAY just may miss Transformers Animated tomorrow (Jan.12), in school next week I'll have to do the state ELA tests, I have to do a family tree project this weekend.Yup, thats the, well, um, bad news. This is the good news: I got two new Bionicles the past few days and tomorrow I'm going over to grandma's and will stay for the weekend, and yes being the major young collector I am I'll get something out of it. Wait, forgot one more bad news thing: me and my best friend have had a lot of arguments lately. Well I know non of you guys asked for that but don't worry fellow fans I have some news up my sleeve. Also, did ya hear a TFW user died?

The news tip I would like one of ya guys to post is, one: movie allspark power Night Watch OptimusPrime is out on shelfs. Two: on TFW2005.com theres a list of new upcoming movie robot hero wave figs. And Hasbro is making Marvel Transformers. Plus some more stuff. POST THAT STUFF GUYS, and or girls.
TriPredRavage said,  - 2008-01-11 20:17:02
Ty, Mighty Maximal already posted about Nightwatch OP earlier this week. Otherwise, no worries, we'll get around to posting about that stuff soon enough, probably when more information is available.

As for your personal problems, I'm sorry to hear about them. Bummer you'll miss TFA; I hated doing family tree projects way back when; sorry to hear about the kid in your neighbor hood. We used to believe that my high school was cursed because every year a student would die, but that all changed the year that two students died and somehow broke the curse. It was pretty depressing, so I know how you feel, we all grew up in fear that we'd be next. As for your bud, don't worry too much about it. You guys are growing up, so there are bound to changes (which I know is cliched, but it is true). My best bud and I fought for years to the point that we weren't friends anymore. Now that high school is over and we're in college, we hang out whenever we can, as if nothing ever happened. Give it time, it'll all blow over soon enough.

And Scorpomike, I think they meant to put Sunstreaker instead of Rattrap. At least, that's who it looks like to me. These premium figures are kinda ticking me off. I didnt' get a lot of the Movie figures (I don't know why), but I did get Blackout. It's like now that the movie hype is over they're gonna run the series into the ground by flooding the market with repaints. That's just lame in my opinion...
Knightwing said,  - 2008-01-11 20:47:45
TPR - The movie figs are still selling too well for Hasbro to stop. That's the whole reason we won't see TFA figs in stores untill June. :(

Tyscream - TPR's right. It all seems like a big deal now. But, give it a few years and you'll laugh at how much you reacted to some of the things your going through right now. Unfortuantly perspective only comes with time and experience, and at this point you don't really have a lot of either yet. It does get better! A lot better! Trust me.
Sabrblade said,  - 2008-01-11 21:05:35
But what's worse than selling repaints of movie figs is that most of these one are more show-accurate (or in this case, movie-accurate) than the regular ones released initially that nearly everyone has already bought.

I hear some guys are thinking of having to buy the almost the whole movie line all over again just to get these accurately-colored versions.

TPR Two Students died and broke the curse, that is one of the most messed up thing i've ever heard. secondly that does tick me off two i have ever person that was in the movie and now that i have to go out and get an even better lookin blackout w/ scorpy i'm even more ticked off. I've known for ever that the marketing stragagey is to realease a crappy figure first that i have to get then release the color correct one so i have to go buy it but still if they really wanted to make more money they stop with the crappy repaints like 2009 bumblebee recolored red to be a cliffjumper. Or swerve to be camshaft. Who else agrees with me?

guess wat??? i jus checked the info on my TV for the new animated episode... and i thers gonna be new characters! i dont wanna spoil it for anyone so i wont say wat it said
TriPredRavage said,  - 2008-01-12 08:52:09
Yeah, Scorpomike, I'm with ya for the different size figures. That I don't mind, and I'd really like a larger Bonecrusher, personally. Now, I don't mind figures being repainted to be other characters; they did it with G1 figures, they did it with Beast Wars figures, etc, but it ticks me off when they are new paints for the SAME GUY. I only own half of the Armada line because I wasn't about to go and buy Hotshot and everybody else over again just because they were different colors.

Yeah, BB, every year one, until one year there were two. It was pretty messed up and a lot of students were lost. We weren't sure if the curse was over or if it was just going to take a break for a year after that, but it seems to have stoped.

Hey guys! I just got done watching the new Animated episode! So cool! Grimlock and the dinobots were great. It was funny when the birds puped on Grimlock's head.
Sabrblade said,  - 2008-01-12 10:12:14
Yeah, I'll say. Grimlock was played perfectly! And his robot mode was just as magnificent. When they said, "Cars and trucks bad! Car robots worse!" The first thing I thought was, "Oh, RiD alert!" (pun on "red alert").

Also, I loved how Sumdac learned of Megs' existence and how Megs duped him into thinking he was an Autobot too. Perfect.

Heads up everybody! Hasbro is releasing a robot heros Dispensor! Could this be a sign that we will get a transforming Dispensor somewhere down the line as well?
