Ratchet - Universe vs. Henkei! Henkei!

TF08 has two images of Ratchet toys. One image is of his Universe toy, the other is of his Henkei! Henkei! toy. Both are in vehicle mode. with their respective weapon below them. To clarify which is which, the top image is of Henkei! Ratchet, while the second image is of Universe Ratchet.

There's also a third image, which shows Universe Hot Shot. See all three images here.

The only difference between the two (other than the chrome weapon) is the stripe placement and the coloring of the head piece. I think I'll just get the US version and just paint the crest grey. Hopefully it won't have the same problems as Ironhide.

Did you forget the different light bars, the the different shades of red paint, the chrome on the front & rear headlights, or the different blues used on the non-transluscent windows?

For some reason, the Universe version of Ratchet just doesn't seem to fit the character (although Iron Hide to me fits, even though they both have the same mold!).
I'm trying to decide if I want to get this Ratchet, or maybe kitbash an Animated Ratchet so he doesn't look cartoony...

I think Ratchet will have the same head problem as Ironhide. Not hard to fix though. I will get Ratchet but I think I'll pass on Hotshot. This is how I wish the Transformers were made back in the day. I love the classics line.

I like the look of Ratchet and I'll probably get him, for the Universe line. The jury is still out on Hot Shot. I'd have to wait until I was actually at the store looking at the figure in package before I decided.
