The Ark in Transformers: DOTM?

A recent post at the ShootForTheEdit.com Forums by Nelson spoke of Michael Bay's involvement with the teaser trailer that came out recently. When someone asked who worked on the trailer if Bay didn't, Nelson had this to say:

"Wrong. He said initially he didn't have anything to do with it and then later became totally involved. Who do you think shot those NASA, astronauts walking on the moon, and Ark scenes?"

You heard right; he said "Ark scenes"! It would seem that an Ark ship could very well grace us with its presence in the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon movie.

However, this does bring up the question as to whether that down ship on the Moon in the trailer was the Ark or not. If so, then it would appear that there are two Ark ships in the Movieverse (Tyran) like how there are two Nemesis ships.

interesting speculation
however we must consider that the ark could be used simply as a set name or what not.

however if there is a second ark how interesting. that would lend itsself to the gold bot being an autobot and mor than likely an autobot like sentinal prime or rodimus

Too be fair, that gold bot on the moon looks way too humanoid to be a decepticon. In the films of late, the decepticons, even the ancient ones, have always come across as being huge and relatively hideous with inhuman/insectoid in which any features outside of the eyes can be difficult to make out. Megatron stands out as having a relatively humanoid face, but you take one look at his skullish, grim-reaper esque features and you know who's team he plays for. The gold bot has the look of an wizened old man, so it just looks like an autobot.

The old autobot looks like Alpha Trion to me!

i see two options
1)ther are two "Ark"s, just as the Nemesi with the Ghost of Yesterday Ark named aftert the original.
2)just a production name, just as Devestator was for Brawl in 2007 and just as then it became the name taht stuck

I seem to recall in the movie tie in miniseries
REIGN OF STARSCREAM, the Autobots were seen boarding a spacecraft in pursuit of the Decepticons, but the ship in the teaser looks completely different.

Could it be a stolen Decepticon ship, and if so
could the mysterious old Transformer(let's call him ALPHA TRION) be trying to warn the Autobots?

And if so, for what reason? I don't know, but I'm looking forward to it. If Shockwave's in it, we're in trouble, if UNICRON'S in it also,BIG TROUBLE!

@Anon: Yeah, that's what I meant about there being two Arks. This ship is very different from that one, so if it is an Ark ship, it would mean that there are two Arks like how there are two Nemesises.

I think it's Hot rod or Rodimus Prime because of the color and most of the facial features.
