Transformers Cybertron's animation house Gonzo to animate 2008 'Heroes' Cartoon

Poster GroundPounder1967 has informed Website Seibertron.com with the following information regarding the 2008 Cartoon provisionally refered to as Transformers : Heroes.  Though the source is not known (and this is little more than an unconfirmed rumor), I think it's worth a mention:

"GroundPounder1967 has sent us the following information concerning the 'Transformers Heroes' cartoon series currently in development by Hasbro.

Hasbro has signed off on Gonzo to animate the new TF cartoon. Hasbro has been happy with their work on Transformers Cybertron and GI Joe Sigma Six and wants to keep that partnership going. And like GI Joe, this will be written in the States but animated overseas. (Much like how TFG1 was produced back in the day.)

A story bible was written and has meet with a lot of approval from everyone involved, but no story editor has been chosen yet.

Right now everyone there is excited about the movie, and Brian may well sign off on the idea of hiring one (or both) of the Beast Wars guys to showrun TFH since he knows how good they are at telling a great story, which is his main agenda right now. His primary goal as CEO is to turn Hasbro from a toy company that owns intellectual properties into an IP company that also makes toys, and he knows that quality stories will bring that about. Now that Hasbro is making Marvel toys, look for a renewed relationship with Marvel Comics on that front as well."

I hope this is of interest, Regards Mighty.Maximal.

As a G.I. Joe enthusiast, I wasn't fond of the Sigma Six cartoon. Of course, war for kids is very challenging. But with Bob and/or Larry, and better than S6 animation, we might actually enjoy it.

There is no question, if Bob and Larry were to be involved, fans would get awefully excited. Myself included!

BF & LD on a new TF series?? Oh, be still my heart, that would be just too cool!
I don't know who that source is but they obviously do not know that Brian Goldner is the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Hasbro not the CEO (Chief Executive).

I think the buzz on the show would be hugely higher if Larry & Bob were asked to be involved in some way even if it's just to submit some episodes.

I was talking to someone who said Simon Furmans been casting hints about involvement in some big secret project so I half wondered if he's been offered some envolvement in the show.

He has written for animated shows like Dan Dare and Captain Scarlett in more recent years as well as One Episode of Beast Wars after all.

That said he could have been talking about a comic project.
