my friend gave me this for a scrapmetal.i think this toy needed a better transformation gimmick,to be honest.i also happen to think and believe this is better than dotm soundwave.

it dissapoints me that he has no weapons whatsoever. they could have at least made his wing into swords

A very good figure. Fun to fiddle with. His modes are very cool, and he has a great transformation. His head sculpt is good. His solar panels and clear parts are cool. However, he is too small. He should be a voyager class. But the rest makes up for it.

OMG! Soundwave is back and is better than ever. My all-time favorite character, he is very cool. Nice alternate modes. He is a bit too small, but his supreme awsomeness makes up for it.

Soundwave is my fav. TF and this one really disappoints. Too much kibble in all modes. Head sculpt is great but bot mode is too short and squat. Both alt modes are horrible. Really think they rushed this figure.

I'm a huge Soundwave fan and this toy doesn't cut it. His alternate modes stink. I mostly like his head, but his robot mode is too squatty. Save your money and buy the Animated Soundwave or a reissue of the G1 classic. This figure stinks.

Not bad. Its only a preview figure so I'm guessing anther soundwave will be coming out later. Both modes are okay. I like the robot mode.

A weak offering overall, partially redeemed by good styling in bot mode.LOUSY excuse for an altmode, satellite form has partial second head for some reason."Jet" mode is pointless.A regrettable purchase, which given the massive price jump,is inexcusable.

I like the robot mode but the triple changer idea fell short...He really looks more like the tuning fork of doom than a jet or satillite.

Dr. Phil
I'm a bit biased because I'm a Soundwave fan, but I think he is a very good figure. He's a little short in robot mode and you have to have a good "imagination" for his alt mode. However, he is a fun toy to fiddle with. Don't regret this purchase one bit.

Human Error
As a big fan of Soundwave i was ecstatic to find out he was in the new movie. His head sculpt is awesome! I hope he gets an earth mode though, because he kinda falls into what the hell am i category. with all that said hes still an awesome mold!

Not a bad figure, but too much extra plastic; things just kind of jut all over the place in both forms. A neat looking robot mode, but a flimsy jet mode and an unposable satellite mode. Still, looks very cool in robot form.
