The Ultimate Transformers Universe figure Re-rerelease, and new pics of Animated and Universe (2008) figures

Before, I reported the sightings of Transformers Cybertron Legends-class figures being sold in Classics packaging. Now I have found what I believe could be the biggest re-rerelease of Transformers figures. I recently walked into my local KB Toys to browse around at the movie figures. They still had Wave 1 & 2 figures.

But that wasn't all I found. Spanning one-third of the aisle were five Transformers Cybertron Scout-class figures and four Transformers Energon Deluxe-class figures sold in Transformers Universe packaging. The Cybertron figures were Backstop, Brakedown, Lugnutz, Scattorshot, Brushguard. The Energon figures were Slugslinger, Storm Jet, Steamhammer, and Barricade.

This is especially good news for those who haven't completed their Energon combiner figures. If you have all four limbs but no torso, you now have a second chance to grab these. So head to your local stores and keep an eye out for these, if you're interested.

In other news, Hasbro's Transformers site now has some preview images of the upcoming Animated Leader Ultra Magnus, Voyager Sentinel Prime, and Deluxes Swoop and Elite Guard Bumblebee.

Hasbro's site also has graced us with images of some new Transformers Universe (2008) figures including Deluxes Sideswipe (with the wrong head), Silverstreak, and Ironhide, Ultra Silverbolt, Robot Heroes Thrust vs. Blaster, Kickback vs. Ironhide, and BW Megatron vs. BW Silverbolt, and another rerelease of G1 Optimus Prime called the Optimus Prime 25th Anniversary Pack!

i wonder how easily sideswipe's little ears come off... ironhide should be a voyager- he kinda looks like a deluxe, and his alt mode looks to movie-ish.. and silverbolt doesnt really look like he combines with anyone

those are my only complaints, very minor but i am looking forward to the new classics!

That's the wrong head on Sideswipe.

Seibertron has a better gallery, with more images, the correct robot mode for Bluestreak, and the right head for Sideswipe.

Still, that looks pretty cool! I'm interested. I just hope the Henkei Classics don't get in the way. ^_^

That's convenient....................I WANT THEM AAAAALLLLLLLL! Those are just some of THE finest figures ever created, and to top it all off, for the first time in 6 years, we have a US reissue of Optimus Prime! This is a bigger event then when Barbara Steisand and Katharine Hepburn tied at the '68 Oscars, or when the Soviet Union fell! Way to go Hasbro! Our loyalty, all the way back to 1964, has paid off!

Darkton, they have the same images as Hasbro. Sideswipe's head is still wrong, and just click on Bluestreak's robot mode picture and it will show the correct figure.

Elite Guard Bumblebee, sure another excuse for a repaint. Oh well, there's a show spoiler that he gets promoted. They put Silverbolts robot mode next to Silverstreaks car mode by mistake.

"Silverstreak" is Hasbro's new name for Bluestreak since they lost the rights to that name.

Couldn't they just do "Autobot Bluestreak"? That's how they got Scrapper back. What's with the red X's on the figure faces?

Well, they've been doing "Silverstreak" ever since both his TRU reissue and Alternators figures were released back in 2004.

Has anyoen else seen, 'Mission Accomplished'? Since it may well have the best Sentinal Prime and Optimus Prime moment yet. It involves Optimus showing his superiority, and a pair aof stasis locks.
