*UPDATED* - MP-07, New Henkei figures, and new GT-R Convoy - IMAGES

Digital Toys has updated with preorders for the following new figures:
* MP-07 Masterpiece Thundercracker, Nissan GT-R Silver Transformer, Nissan GT-R Red Transformer.  See these preorders here.

They also have preorders for these new Henkei releases:
* C-09 Lambor(ghini), C-10 Streak, C-11 Ironhide, C-12 Ratchet, D-05 Octane, D-06 Galvatron.  These are likely the Henkei releases of the new Universe (Classics 2.0) line. Check out these preorders here.

*UPDATE*

Fantofan.jp has posted new pics from the 2008 Tokyo Toy show including the first images of Masterpiece Thundercracker(which looks to be colored closer to the G1 toy model than the animation model), a prototype of Henkei Ratchet (which does seem to be a repaint of Universe Ironhide), and a Prototype of the new Alternity GT-R, which has been revealed to be Convoy (Optimus Prime), is neither a Binaltech nor Alternator, and appears to be the same size as Movie deluxe toys.

Also, these images, while blurry as they are, seem to show that the chrome on Sunstreaker includes his roof vents and weapons, the chrome on Prowl includes his spoiler and weapons, and the chrome on Streak includes just his hood. Plus, the finished pictures of Metroplex are also available.

Masterpiece Thundercracker = LAME!

I have to admit after Skywarp doing Thundercracker is just unoriginal, lets see a new Masterpiece instead of another repaint. I am happy and fine with my MP Starscream, I don't need the rest of the seekers. Perhaps a Masterpiece Jetfire though... anyone?

The way I see it, if they can boost their profit margin with desirable repaints, more power to them. Anything that increases the viability of the line is okay in my book.

I'm curious about those Nissans, there's rumblings of the return of alternators.

I second Masterpiece Sky/Jetfire

I don't know why but I have a soft spot for those kind of repaints. I'll buy them at any chance I get. Strange, isn't it?

Hey look at the bright side, after Thundercracker can't really do anymore seeker repaints unless they go obscure. I doubt we will see a MP Sunstorm anytime soon. New molds are right around the corner I can feel it just like the new Binaltechs here *drool* ...Binaltech

Oh yeah and BBTS has them listed as Binaltech

You're kidding right??? This'll be AWESOME! Bring it I say! Then let quickly be followed by MP-08 Skywarp in G1 colors, then a slight retool for MP-09,10 and 11 w/ new wings for Ramjet, Thrust and Dirge! What could be better than a shelf full of Alternators about to do battle with MP-Megatron, Starscream and an army of Seekers!

Then how about a Masterpiece triple-changer Blitzwing! That'd be my vote.
lord megatron said,  - 2008-06-17 14:32:39
my vote for new masterpiece mold goes for Shockwave. If thats not possible then I'd vote for Grimlock. My favorite seeker has always been thrust so I'd like him to be the first conehead to be made.
Sabrblade said,  - 2008-06-17 14:49:09
Well, we know that MP Grimlock is probably already in the works.
TriPredRavage said,  - 2008-06-17 15:11:32
No, Perceptor, I'm not kidding at all. To me, it's like the MPs were made to be special and then we keep getting slight changes, like tall and short stacks, the white Ultra Magnus, Skywarp. I'm cool with one repaint such as Magnus and Skywarp, but if they're just going to keep dishing them out then I lose interest. I still haven't gotten Starscream becuase I never found it in a Wal-Mart. There was one on sale at Comic Con for $180+. No thanks, I'll wait it out at the stores... There's a comic/collector store selling two MP Megatrons and I haven't bought them either because they're so expensive and I'm still hoping for the American release one day. Gotta say though, I'm really disappointed with MP Megs' legs. They're so skiny, I thought they'd have come up with a remedy for that by now.

ratchet? cool.
Master Dex said,  - 2008-06-17 15:53:58
TPR, we are in agreement, except I did get MP Starscream from a Wal-mart. MP Skywarp looks like G1 colors to me... However I want to see newer things come out of the line. Thrust, Dirge, or Ramjet would at least have more of a retooling though (but only one of them is necessary). I still say Jetfire, he is my favorite flying Transformer next to Starscream.

I'd like to see some Masterpiece War Within figures. I'll file that under never gonna happen.

Like I said Masterpiece Grimlock is probably already in the works.

I'm going to dig my own grave here, but I think Masterpiece Grimlock would be a waste. The fact of the matter is that the MP series is made to create the most show accurate versions of G1 Tfs. Well, the Grimlock figures have always been very show accurate. The only thing a Masterpiece is going to do is increase his posibility, which is fine and dandy, but I'd rather seen another popular character get better treatment. Like G1 Bumblebee, we could use a show accurate/highly posibile version of him. Then they can repaint it into Cliffjumper. We all know how much they love repaints...

Wait for it... wait for it... okay, I'm ready to get flamed...

TPR!!!! HOW COULD YOU?!?!?!? Jk! XD
I just really think a Shockwave would do wonders for the masterpiece line. Or, possibly, a show-accurate Soundwave!
bb cant sign on using a wii said,  - 2008-06-17 23:31:07
I totally agree we need a MP Shockwave. And what do you mean a show accurate Soundwave? I think the G1 version is perfect the way it is.
Autobutt said,  - 2008-06-17 23:50:21
Honestly, if hasbro came up with a masterpiece Wheelie, i would buy it.
Sabrblade said,  - 2008-06-17 23:51:45
Not quite, BB. His legs were very thin and he towered over G1 Megs. Much like how G1 Blaster towered over Soundwave.
Starscream said,  - 2008-06-18 08:14:46
I agree with Autobutt. IF they were ever to make a show-accurate Wheelie,I would buy him. I have no idea why I almost always go for jerky Autobot charactures,(Perhaps it is in my Decpticon nature)but I happen to like Wheelie and I wish that there was a better-looking figure of him. I know that there is a model kit you can sometimes find on Ebay that is VERY accurate and includes his little slingshot, but it is usualy rather expensive.
Autobutt said,  - 2008-06-18 11:16:36
Thank you SS. but just imagine, Wheelie has been one of those "love to hate" characters, and we have never had a decent toy figure of him yet. i would love to have a MP Wheelie as part of my collection!
???? from ???? said,  - 2008-06-18 13:39:15
What about a full size MP Grimlock with a mini MP Wheelie? They were sort of teamed up in the movie, after all.

New info reveals the GT-R Convoy figure to be part of a new toyline called Transformers Alternity.
