Speaking of Grimlocks and Swoops, we would be remiss if we left out the very latest and (in this fan's opinion) greatest version, Transformers Animated Grimlock. His all new character page is now linked to and available in the 2008 Transformers Section.

Holy slag! I didn't know that you were Blasten Blaster! Wow, how stupid of me. Anyways, it is nice to see some G1 Character references in the new series. "Me Grimlock want to munch metal!"
Oh, btw, for those concerned you might want to take a look at two new Henkei Seekers: Thrust and Dirge

These guys are BEAUTIFUL!
And as for Thrust's wings, I think that they will be removable and interchangable, so no gripe on my end. If this theory proves true, then we'll have a Thrust that is G1 accurate in both modes!

Oh yeah, he's very likable. But I need to see him win a fight with the Decepticons before I crown him the *best* Grimlock of all time. The toy is exceedingly awesome, IMHO.
