Well, Europe did get more, but they were they same toys as the U.S. releases or earlier 1993 Euro releases, but most had different names.

today is my birthday! yays! the only g2 fig that i ever had was megatron.

The only G2 fig I ever had was... none. Not a single one. Oh well.

I was too young to even know about the G2 figures. It wasn't until Beast Wars came out that I was aware of the Transformers. But even then I didn't call them Transformers until RiD came out.

BUT, my first Transformer was a G1 figure: Pretender Longtooth (minus ALL accessories). I didn't even know that toy was a Transformer until I found an image of it on tfu.info. I in't even buy it, my older bro found it a the local swimming pool.

huh, we're one in the same sabr, my first fig was in '93 with g1 jetfire and prime. sadly, jetfire was lost to the dreaded sandbox and optimus has broken both legs. my first actual store bought fig was none other than the infamous beast wars manterror! and about longtooth, i guess the kid who had him before you thought that old walrus face deserved a swim.lol.
