As much of a favorite as he is among fans, it's surprising there haven't been more versions.  But fear not, Soundwave is making a big comeback!  His presence has been confirmed by ROTF authors, so we'll see him on the big screen next year.  And in the meantime, you can get your Soundwave fix enjoying the outstanding interpretation in Transformers Animated.  His all-new character page has been uploaded and is ready for viewing in the 2008 Transformers Section.

This soundwave: SUPERIOR. Oil-chuggin' Constucticons: INFERIOR (but still funny).

GOOOOOO Soundwave!

On a lighter note, I'm having a bit of trouble saving Tivo-ed programs to videotapes. The audio comes out fine, but the picture is fuzzy and gray. I looked at the connections, and they seem fine. Any tidbits of wisdom?

@Jumpercliff: Some programs won't run through on VHS because of the blocker that they put up in the dish to prevent illegal copying. This is why it appears fuzzy and gray, if I remember correctly it should also make the audio crackle a bit. Let me know if this helps! :D

Really? I thought it had something to do with the durability of the VCR. How can I tell if a program has a blocker, and I'm not planning on doing any illegal recording, I just want to clear up space AND have entertaining things to watch without fear of them being deleted.

I can't remember how to tell if theres a block on the programs' recording, sorry man. But your best bet would probably be to pick up the media on DVD.

Yeaaaahhh......one problem: the shows I Tivo have never had a US DVD release in years, and they are very hard to find or have not been released at all. They are:

The Incredible Hulk-"Innocent Blood", "Mortal Bounds", "Doomed", "Fantastic Fortitude", "Hulk of a Different Color", "Mind Over Anti-Matter", and "Mission: Incredible".

Iron Man-"And The Sea Shall Give Up Its Dead", "The Origin of Iron Man, Parts 1 & 2", "The Origin of the Mandarin", "The Wedding of Iron Man", "The Beast Within", "Armor Wars, Parts 1 & 2", "Empowered", and "Hands of the Mandarin, Parts 1 &2".

X-Men-"Cold Comfort", "Courage", "Red Dawn", "Beauty and the Beast", "Nightcrawler", "Love in Vain", "Deal With The Devil", "Family Ties", "Lotus and the Steel", "Have Yourself a Morlock Little Xmas", "Beyond Good and Evil, Parts 1-4", "The Phalanx Covenant, Parts 1 & 2", "Bloodlines", "No Mutant is an Island", "Old Soldiers", and "Graduation Day".

And finally, Spider-Man-"Doctor Strange", "The Prowler", "Blade the Vampire Hunter", "The Vampire Queen", "The Return of Hydro-man, Parts 1& 2", "Secret Wars, Parts 1-3", and "Spider Wars, Parts 1 & 2".

You get what my trouble is (curse you Disney, first you buy the Saban library, and now you coerce Takara into making DIsney Transformers-incompatible!).
