Ever wanted to get an old G1 Autobot Roadbuster figure? How about a brand new version in Pre-G1 colors instead?

The Cybergundam blog has promo images of a new product from CM's corp called the Brave Gokin Mugen Calibur figure. This was the original name of the toy that became the 1985 G1 deluxe Autobot Roadbuster figure; back when it was part of the Special Armored Battalion Dorvack series. This is a very rare figure and is almost impossible to find complete. Now you will have the chance of buying a new, updated and fully articulated version of him. It stands 7-8 inches tall and will even be 70-80% Diecast!

Any idea how big this figure's going to be? I wonder how the quality's going to be as well. If this is the company that made the Great Exkaiser/Dragon Kaiser figures, it should be good, but if its the people who made the masterpiece Robotech stuff, I'll be disappointed.

Well, here's their products page. This should help a bit.

Holy....ladies (assuming there are some) and gentlemen, depending on the size of the figure, should Hasbro buy the mold and produce it, we have ourselves here THE Classics/Universe 2.0 Roadbuster!

I wish. But there's no way Hasbro would do something THAT smart. JK

Unfortunately, Jumpercliff, Sabrblade's right. Unless they luck out like they did with Sky Lynx and Omega, they are not gonna be able to sell it in the US.

Still, that's what kitbashers like Jin Saotome are for. I suspect a repaint will show up in the Kitbash section of the site anytime. ^_^

I'm definitely going to get my hands on one.
