Custom Lucky Draw Green Unicron on Ebay

Ebay seller BOSKOES has an auction for a custom repaint of Armada Unicron into the Lucky Draw "Green Unicron" AKA the "Hikari no Unicron" (Unicron of Light). The  "Green Unicron" Lucky Draw toys were limited to only ten pieces in a mail away contest held by the Micron Legend Year Book back in February of 2004. This toy is a reference to the scene in the Armada cartoon where the Mini-cons form a green energy version of Unicron in order to confront their creator. The rarity of a Lucky Draw figure makes it next to impossible to acquire.

This custom is designed to highly resemble that figure, with the exception of being FAR more detailed than the real product, as it is the trademark of all the BOSKOES team's products of being "Hyper Detailed". But what makes this buy even more intense is that they will be offering it as a "limited edition 1 of 1 piece", as they will not be doing another of these again privately or on Ebay.

You may view the auction of this awesome sell here, and here is the complete gallery of the real product at Luckydrawtransformers.com to compare it to the custom.

Funny thing-Superman might mistake this guy for a whole planet of Kryptonite!

I think a lot of people are sick of this mold. Yeah the bid is a little high, but I don't think it would be hard to get for under 200. I have the two colors and that's all I need for that mold. If I want a good planet robot, I'll get my Primus out. Why didn't he awaken during the Unicron battles when he was needed the most?

If it was originally made back in 2004, I wonder why then it is shown in 2008 universe packaging?

Because Perceptor, they repainted the Universe rerelease and repackaged it.

Remember, this is a custom made to look like the old contest prize, but better.

i agree with scorpomike ,that mold is starting to look a little out dated .plus i think hasbro /takara is trying to get rid of this mold make more money then sell us a newly designed unicron that has a actual sphere shape like primus maybe even rip primus head off and put unicrons head in place, but with a ring and the collar around his neck to make it look more g1 .

The saying "when they made made me they broke the mold" finally comes to meaning.

Hasbro should have made the Unicron of Light a collector's club exclusive instead of rereleasing this version. Or Takara/Hasbro should have released the blue prototype they used to auction. Then the mold might have been more appreciated. Black Unicron was actually a really original and interesting twist, so i'm surprised they could make that and not make the figure another interesting color scheme.
The custom is pretty cool though and whoever made it had the right good idea.
