I did not think this strike would really effect much movies. It is supposed to effect one of my favorite TV shows as well, Lost. Also, thanks for giving us the name for The Mummy 3 H E. Thank you Human Error for posting that *super* interesting video on the writer's strike. I found it very informative. As much as I'm excited for TF2, I can wait until this gets sorted out. Good luck to the writers, I hope they get everything they're asking for.

The strike effects all media (Aside from maybe news organizations) from film to television and even video games. I was hoping it wouldn't happen and the studios would just agree to what the writers wanted, because i didnt want some of the shows ive become fond of like Pushing Daisies, Chuck, and Heroes to suffer because of it. However, i understand why this is happening and give my support to the WGA and hope they get what they're after.

As for the strike, would this idea sound crazy to you guys: I write a letter to the people who don't pay the writers and won't increase the pay a letter asking them to compromise with the writers. (In the fine print, it'll call them cowards if they refused.) Doing that kind of thing nearly worked for this little girl who wrote to the Soviet Primier back in the late 80s, and she ended up touring the Soviet Union. Her act showed them that not all Americans can be distrusted.

A penchant for randomness runs in the winds here. As it does with me. However not at this moment.

As for the writers strike.. I have a neutral feeling on most strikes, I say they work to best sort it out soon. I don't want too much to be affected. Heroes is a show I still want to be able to see. Luckily the Stargate franchise is unaffected because it is being filmed in British Columbia (despite being run by MGM in America).

Different note, my school was doing their last movie night of the semester yesterday and they were showing Transformers.. so naturally I was there. Before the movie played I happen to overhear someone else talking like he knew everything about the movie (which wasn't much true because I noticed inconsistencies, but didn't voice them), and someone asked him if he know what was happening in the sequel. He said a bunch of things I had never heard before, and quite frankly I hope are wrong.. it sounded rather... bad the way he sad it. I am not going to bother saying what he said unless someone wants to know, because I think he made most of it up to sound like a hot shot (no pun intended). However has anyone heard any possible story lines yet, I figured this guy wasn't truthful because I would have heard something by now here or some other site if it were.

thats some interesting stuff. id love to hear some of the rumors that are floating around if you have time you should drop them in the allspark forum. ive heard some ingteresting things to. including somthing including a new Decepticon called "Maximus Prime".

That is interesting you should say that, this guy said 'Maximus' at least once.. I was hesitant to wonder if it would be Fortress Maximus or not. However I still don't know how valid his info was. He also mentioned "8 minibot things that form a big robot." I hope they don't bring minicons into this universe, I don't like minicons. I wonder if he might have been speaking of Devastator and the Constructicons maybe though.

On a side note, I got Masterpiece Starscream US version! Yay! He is good looking too, shorter than I expected.

Maximus Prime?!! That is the name that I thought of for a US release of Big Convoy. Think about it, it works well. A big, tough, strong one-man-army bot with a name like that fits perfectly.

Dex, about that guy who sounded like he knew everything, don't believe him unless he has good evidence to back up his claims. Seriously, people will say anything to make either themselves sound smart, or what their talking about sound cool. Back when I was in Elementary school, I was just starting to watch Yu-Gi-Oh!, but before I did, I asked one of my friends who watched it about it to see what it was like, and I made a comment on how it kinda reminded me of Pokémon or Digimon (remember, I had not seen the show yet) and he actually tried to convince me that some Pokémon and Digimon had appeared in Yu-Gi-Oh! Yeah right! I doubted him, but I didn't let him know, cuz I wanted him to think I believed him. But, after watching it, it forgot to say to him something like, "Hey, you were so wrong about the Pokémon and Digimon in Yu-Gi-Oh! thing!" Oh well.

Oh, I'm sure he was making it up, or heard wrong. As we now know, Michael Bay is releasing fake scripts and info on TF2, he probably just heard stuff like that.

Yeah, don'tcha just hated when you run into someone who thinks he knows "everyhing and more" about something when really, you know more than they know; and then they don't believe you when you correct their errors or tell them something they didn't know?
