I kinda like them. Nice to see somebody making Springer a Triple Changer again. But I want to see a legends class Ravage.

I don't see the point if they aren't true downscalings of the G1 figures. If there are going to be "improvements" then the figures might as well be done up completely like the previous Wheelie and Cyclonus. Actually a Springer in that style would be pretty awesome. Since Springer apparently isn't good enough in Hasbro's eyes to warrant a proper Universe version, a fully done JizaiToys version would probably the closest we'd ever get to a show-accurate Springer.

The only appeal I can see for such small Transformers is if you'd want to pose them next to a city figure (Metroplex, Trypticon, Scorponok or Fortress Maximus), or maybe even Unicron and Primus themselves (even with them, scale would be off).
I imagine using tweezers to transform these guys... not appealing.
I second the desire to have more Classics/Universe 2.0 figures.
ANd BTW Sidewinder, maybe this is old news to you, maybe not. But they did release a Ravage figure along with Hound for Universe 2.0, even scaled to be able to fit into the original Soundwave.
I was never able to get any of them, but I do like the idea of making new molds of the old minicar characters as current day Legends. Maybe go Sidewinders' route, and come up with new molds for the various tape characters...

To: Overhaul

Yes, I know about that Ravage. I'm more looking at my RotF Ravage thinking "Wow, drastically out of scale with almost the entire line." The only possible acception would be putting that Ravage next to HA Bumblebee. I'm just not a fan of the only Ravage toy being larger then Soundwave.

Legends scale tape figures would be fantastic, at least in my opinion. Of course I also firmly believe a new, updated, and triple changer mold of Springer would also be fantastic, and we see how much Hasbro/Takara love that idea.

SO these are official. My bad.

I'd also be interested in faithful downscalings of more G1 toys, especially ones that are hard to find or are insanely expensive.
