War for Cybertron - Official Site Update!

The official Transformers: War for Cybertron website was once again updated today after the previous release of character profiles and multi-mode pictures on April 6th. Of the six already well known playable characters: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave, the website unveils pictures and profiles for two new playable characters we had previously only confirmed by name Air Raid, and Breakdown!

Just read a summary of a new gameinformer article over at allspark and its looking awesome, they even say their will be AI characters in single player sort of how I wanted it to be with squad based stuff.

I don't quite know how I feel about Soundwave's look, or the fact that Air Raid and Breakdown are tooling around long before their appearance in G1 canon. But from an artistic point of view, they look great.

I jumped with joy when I heard that the game would feature Breakdown (and possibly Motormaster) in the roaster. I'm a bit fan of the Stunticons, and they seem to be underrepresented in new iterations of the franchise.

Anywho. I clicked on the link in order see the Breaky's new character model, and to my horror he's just a redeco of the new Lockdown toy...

*Sniffles* They didn't even do his G-1 colors. I'll grant you, they're vaguely G-2 ish, but blarg, definately a letdown.
