Voyager Megatron Out

Posted by:

I realize that this news has been out for a few days now.  But, I thought it deserved attention on our sight as well.  I also mention it because I live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro aera.  We are gennerally one of the last places to get the new toys for simple geographic reasons.  I got one yesterday at TRU.  So, the rest of you probably will be able to in the next few days too.  As long as your store's inventory isn't already sold out.

Other sights are also reporting the Target exclusives G1 deco Jazz & G1 deco Starscream hitting shleves.

Please help your fellow fans find the new toys by reporting your sightings here at Uincron.com.

The Wal Mart where I live is usually pretty bad about getting stuff in for anything; or at least they have been in the past. I was majorly dissapointed in the fact that I managed to collect a large portion of the Classics line by buying them from the store, but several figures or sets never made it to the shelves, including the Devestator set.
However, with the movie figures, they've had pretty much all of them in. Its been pretty amazing that I've been able to walk in the store and get them when I've wanted to. There's been only two figures that I haven't bought from the Wal Mart here. But, within about a day of my purchasing them, they were on the shelves.
Sadly, I'm having a REALLY hard time finding anything at the store now, because everything is sold out. Literally. The sales associate who I speak to on a regular basis has said that pretty much as soon as they get something in and put out, its gone. And I've been witness to it.
As for the exclusive figures, I haven't gone to look for those yet, as I have to go out of town. But, I'm intending to do so as soon as I get a chance. I just hope I can find them!

Wal-Mart is becoming a nuisance for me as well. In the beginning of the movie line they stocked everything like Duckie said. They pretty much replaced all the Classics with movie figures. Now though when I look, all there is to see is Real Gear figures, which I personally don't care for. Aside from there there is a big gap in the shelves where everything should be.

Oh don't get me started on my Wal Mart. it only stocks 1 transformer per line. i'm not kidding. i bought Jazz from the store, then bought the whole line off E-bay.

Wal Mart sucks worse than suck itself. I have never seen a transformer at that place. Toys R Us seems to be supporting the movie line much better. Don't even look in the place where all intelligent life ceases to exist. Look in TRU. That's where sightings of the new wave first came from. In fact, all of the new figures are out. Voyager Prime is out as well (not robovision) and the new deluxes and even leader class Brawl!
Wal Mart has nothing but empty shelves and pags, and in some stores the pegs are missing too o_0

Got mine at Wal-mart in Greenville NC where its collector heavy every store is sold out of transformers and has been for a month we get voyagers every now and then but no leader class and definitely no Deluxe class Hasbro needs to ship heavily down here if I did not hide mine when I did then he would be gone too

"Minneapolis/St. Paul metro aera"? you think that you have it bad I live in the Seattle area of Washington State, were the ones(of the continental 48) to get stuff last and some things we never ever get like Energon Wingsaber I looked with in a 30 mile radius and not one store ever had him TRU, Target, K-Mart, Fred-Myers and so on. So Knightwing count your self lucky when it come to where you live and TF toys, I'd love to live where you do when it come getting the TF's I want.

i've ust about given up on all the stores aroung me. i've seen only 1 voyager megs. and if I see 1 more ratchet im gonna kill someone. heck 08 BB arcee and dreadwing just hit here.

That suprises me BB. Generally the major shipping ports are on each cost and in Texas on the Gulf. So ususally it's just a matter of shipments hitting the near by primary distribution (dc) centers and then having the overstock on to secondary dc. You would think Seattle would get stuff before the Twin Cities.

As for Walmart. There seems to be no explaination for the why they stock their stores. Some of them are fantastic like the one I was at in Fon du Lac WI. And, some like the one 4 mi from me are remarkably bad.

I was actually pretty angry with the Wal Mart here because of the lack of Classics figures that they had. Especially since most of what they had were the mini con sets, and it was just three different sets of those. (there were six in total, if I'm not mistaken) I sort of halfway regret not buying the classics minicons because I could have renamed them like I do a lot of newer figures; but I didn't. >_<
However, like I said with the movie figures, they've had a rather large number of them in. There have been figures that I NEVER would have expected to see in the store that were there. When I was there the other day I saw the voyager Megatron, which was about the only thing that was left there to get, aside from two new real gear figures.
Those I bought, because I actually like them. They're pretty cool toys, and, personally, they bring back memories of watching the G1 series as a kid, and the toys from it. You know, the whole concept of a Transformer being able to be anything at all?
But yeah; as much as I generally dislike Wal Mart, I've got to give it to them for this one. They're bringing in new stuff fairly reguarly, and I've been able to get nearly all of them from that one store. However, had I just waited a day or so, like I said, I'd have gotten all of them from there.

Yes, Voyager Prime and Megs were out...and nothing else aside from Real Gear and all that jazz (but without the Jazz)!

Well, at least at my TRU, but then again, it was undergoing a reformatting anydangway.

Now I work at Wal-mart and the reason why Transformers movie line is sold out is due to the overwhelming demand for these its like 1984 all over again this movie has breathed new life into this dying franchise not just collectors but kids too and Hasbro had no idea there would be such demand they only manufactured enough figures to last thru summer just like with armada and energon and cybertron when it just was not a collectors market
