I actually thought that he looked a bit like something out of Teen Titans.

What is up with the Jay Leno chin?

Who cares about the leno chin!? I think their style is cool and unique to TF-lore and I'm pretty stoked for the series... Enough about that, I couldn't get to a comic store today. What'd everybody think of Beast Wars and Devastation? I can't wait, because I'm expecting some TF: comic greatness. Am I right???

First, thanks to the anonymous posted for informing us about the release of these comics. I've been missing Transformer comics for months now, since my local stores stock so few of them (due to "lack of popularity"), and I never make it there before they all sell out.
So I was able to pick up both the Beast Wars book and Devastation #1. So far, both are looking pretty good, although they indeed are both the opening chapters of a story, not the entire story itself. What I will say is that I'm not disappointed with how the characters are being written.
As for Starscream... I agree with most, he looks good except for the face. If I got him, some facial reconstructive surgery would be a must. I still can't get over how goofy the new characters look... I still have a bad feeling for this new series too...

why not order them on ebay? saves the effort of going to comic shops only to be disappointed.

The largest comic store in Minnesota just closed its doors at all Twin cities locations. I have to drive a *long* way to get my comics. I don't want to buy'm on e-bay. Does anybody have a strong online comic store recommendation, where I can get my Transformers comics??? Tell me about your experience.

I've got a retail store that isn't too far out of the way from school to home for you Perceptor. Cedar Cliff Collectibles it's at 35E and Cliff Rd in Egan in the strip mall behind Target.
