I particularly like the voices of Starscream and Blackarachnia. Wow, and can you hear ANY of BW Megatron in the voice of Optimus Prime?! WOW, it's hard to believe it's the same guy.

I take back any/all negative opinions I had about this series. After seeing this, it looks really promising. I just hope the human interaction doesn't downplay the coolness.

And those voices, talk about talent! Megatron sounds like an eviler version of Brainiac from the DCAU. Starscream is right on. BA sounds like a much deeper version of Numbah 5's sister from KND. Bulkhead and Bumblebee sound decent. And Prime. Well, his name says it all. Prime was just Prime. Despite his younger persona, he was impressive.

I hope now that this has been seen, most/all the complaining will cease.

Ok wow Sponge...err..umm... i mean Starscream sounds great! This is one Transformers series i cant wait to premier! i just hope it doesn't get the hell time slot of 5-6 am that cartoon network seems to like.

I think it will get a good time slot since it's an exclusive Cartoon Network program. I can't wait for it to come out. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts and who the future characters are going to be. I'm not against this one coming out, but if they were going to make a show with lots of similarities to G1, why didn't they just make a cartoon using the Classics figures? Oh well, I guess Animated will be the next best thing.

Hey guys I just discovered some thing when watching Transformers movie! In Transformers G1 Spike has a son that always played with HotRod, well in the end of Transformers 2007 movie Sam and that girl have you know what on Bumblebee. I think in Transformers 2 Sam will have a son to play with Bumblebee!!!!!!

Sam and Mikaela do not "make a baby" at the end of the film. They make out, meaning they kissed a lot. Besides, Sam's too young to have a kid, he's still in high school and I doubt that the sequel will take place enough years after the first film for him to have a kid.

Plus, I doubt many want to see a movie version of Daniel in the movie series. That would cause an uproar in the fanbase.

I'm not taking back anything I've said about this series until I see an official statement saying that they're dropping the human supervillans. Dropping the human girl/inevitable sidekick character would be nice too.

I agree mabey in other trans... movies after #2 they could work it in but a son would be to much of a "time jump" and people would be counfuse/upset etc.

I hate it when people think that Sam and Mikaela were doing that at the end of the movie, they weren't. It was obviously just a make-out scene, for one their clothes are still on except for Sam's shoes.

In any case while statistics on young people engaging in such acts below consenting age are quite high, a movie marketing to such a crowd as Transformers is wouldn't be showing a teenage pregnancy or as follows. It wouldn't fare well with the audience. If it was years later and done in both a considered legal way with them married, it would work out, but it probably won't be done in the second or third movie. Maybe if there is more after that, who knows.

As for the Animated clip, really cool, I am looking forward to this.

My hopes have now gone officially higher.

I like the action. But I'm not sold on the animation style and the new designs. I would rather they would have taken the approach of Godzilla The Series and made a spin off of the live action movie and kept the visual style from the film. But what's done is done I suppose.

I do love how powerful the Decepticons are. Harkens back to how in G1 there were fewer Decpticons than Autobots but the Decepts were so much more powerful (for example Shockwave taking on the entire Dinobot team in the comics).

Anyone besides me notice a second Super Megatron homage? The first was the image of Earth-body Megatron in robot mode. In this clip, we see pre-Earth Megatro transform into a jet that looks a LOT like Super Megatron's jet mode.

I like how Starscream is the same Starscream we all know and love but this time he's smart enough to at least pretent he's loyal to Megatron, until the right moment arrives. He's a bit more like Tarantulas that way. Still a total traitor but more subtle.

Yeah, his ability to do that reminded more of snively from Sonic SatAM rather than Tarnatulas who still had a bit of loyalty to Megatron.

And Menastator, BA's voice is done by Cree Summer, known for playing Susie from Rugrats, Cleo from Clifford the Big Red Dog, Numbah 5 and her sister from KND, Miranda from As Told By Ginger, Max from Batman Beyond, Catnip from Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater, Penny from Inspector Gadget, Dulcy from Sonic SatAM, Winifred "Freddie" Brooks from A Different World, and more. Surely you'll recognize one/some of these roles.

I have two questions, what does Starscream say after Megatron grabs his wing? "Well, our destiny is fixed then!" or "I'll have to get this fixed then." Or something else? I can't tell.

I loved Venus Terzo as Blackarachnia and would still prefer it to be her, but wow, Cree does a phenomenal job as well.

Also, what's with that perfect (looks like a computer generated image, not cell animated) Decepticon symbol in that first close-up of Teletra-1? Any guesses?

I too was wondering about theat Decepticon symbol on the screen of (female!) Teletraan-1. Perhaps this series is cell-aanimated with CGI assistance. Look at the 'con symbols on the 'Cons in the images of each promotional material. They are the same there too.

Rumor has it that Waspinator is going to appear. He was my favorite character in BW, and I'm happy with the fate he got at the end of BW.

Saberblade, that's an interesting way to look at it. You're right, he is a lot like Snively now. Starscream seems so uncannily like Snively that you'd think the writers did it on purpose. I HOPE they're doing it on purpose, because that could mean that Starscream will eventually take over like Satam's writers intended Snively to do. I've always wanted to see how well Starscream would lead if he did take over.

Well Starscream did lead the Decepticons in the G1 movie, but only for 20 seconds, from his crowning to his crumbling. :P

After watching the clip several times... my hopes for Animated have gone up as well. I have been holding out all this time, thinking that it will be a load of (slag) when it gets here, but this clip actually is pretty good.
There's lots I like about it. Megatron, for instance, doesn't look and sound exactly like the Megatron we've known, but he's certainly not the least of them. For the villain, he's got a great voice, and a (atleast for the weird deformed look of the characters) has a great look. I liked the thudding/ metallic clang of the footstepes of megs too... nice touch. This is the megs we should have had in the movie.
Blackarachnia worked out well, even though traditionally she's a BW/BW character. Maybe she'll defect here too? Starscreams' voice was excellent, and although different, Optimus and the rest worked too. I like the idea of the Autbot starting as repair bots.
But... I think the story is diminished by the fact that we've done the same story over and over... maybe if we got this series instead of RiD, I wouldn't have lost my faith in Transformers series to begin with (it started with BM, and then was confirmed by RiD). So that, and the goofy warped way these characters look, are my only standing complaints.

Oh and another thing I forgot to mention: Teletran 1 is voiced by a girl!!! I liked Casey Kasem better!
