TFA Cybertron Mode Ratchet toy prototype

A prototype for what appears to be a figure of Animated Ratchet in his pre-Earth Cybertron Mode has appeared on the TF08 forums. This figure seems to be an extensive remold of the first Deluxe Ratchet toy, and even has the slot on his left arm for the EMP generator toy that comes with the Deluxe Lockdown mold. Not to mention that his forehead crest horns are whole, instead of one being broken off.

Its not hideous, they just used the Movie Ratchet head's design for some reason.

the mold isnt bad, it was just the face

it looks more like a cheap activator and the arms look like they were made from other figs

dudes give it a chance! The face isn't going to look like that. This is a unfinished scrap protoptype!

I'm just 10 levels of thrilled there will be a Cybertron mode Ratchet! That means Ironhide is comin' too!

I wonder if we'll see any other Cybertron mode figures released after the movie is said and done with. I somehow doubt it though.

Nice, except for the prototype head. If someone could maybe at least 'Shop that with the Earth Ratchet's head, I'd like to see it!

Since I already have Earth-form-Ratchet, I'll hold out for the inevitable Ironhide redeco. Nice to see Hasbro is finally paying some respect for Cybertron-mode figures.

good lord in the sky what the heck happened to his face! i really, really ,really hope he is mised transformed but other wise an awesome figure for my collection. i'm curious to see rodimus, brawn, ironhide , strika , spittor cyclonus and hot shot toys.

I've already seen it. In May 2010, its going to come in stores, but not the prototype.
