Hasbro and Discovery's new TV channel - The HUB

From Discovery.com comes this press release:

"Introducing THE HUB -- Discovery Communications and Hasbro Officially Unveil Children's Network Brand

-- Joint Venture Children’s Network to Launch in Fall 2010 --

January 14, 2010
(Los Angeles, Ca.) Discovery Communications-Hasbro Joint Venture President and CEO Margaret Loesch today unveiled the official brand and logo for the children's network, set to launch in fall 2010. Moving forward, the network will be known as "The Hub" and will reach approximately 60 million homes on what is currently the Discovery Kids network.

Okay, the name "The Hub" definitely tells me that there'll be a new Transformers show.

Ya mon, previous press releases have already confirmed it, there will be a new TF show. The question is, what exactly will the new show be???
Wl it be,"War For Cybertron?" or something else?

I'd LOVE to see them do a show in the format of the DCAU, specifically Justice League: Unlimited.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm feeling a little skeptical towards the new series being produced by a Discovery licensed channel. I mean, have you seen their other shows? They're basically CN Real all over again with some crappy, low-budget Flash-made toons thrown into the mix. Not only that but all of their shows must have some relation to education, hence the name "Discovery", this I can see not ending well. I don't want to see my icons teaching children about bugs and animals whilst living in peace, I just want to see them pull off a good storyline with lots of interesting characters(similar to Animated)good plot lines and I also wouldn't mind a few good fights between Prime and Megatron thrown in there for good measure.

I really hope that Hasbro doesn't screw it up......

You know not everything on Discovery is about peace... Granted this will be a kids channel, but still Discovery is the owner of the Military channel and where shows like Future Weapons premiered.

I don't know about Discovery's animating, but I imagine Hasbro would be taking the lead on getting decent animators. They have been good about that so far.

Also, since when was educational content a bad thing that interrupted serious storytelling. I know for a fact you can be educational and have a compelling plot at the same time. Hell I watch tons of shows that are great but still teach me things. It doesn't have to be mindless to be entertaining.

Ok good we have a name to the new network thats cool. BUT Weres the name to the new TF & G.i.joe toon. Weres a date for them to air. Weres one good look at a toy for the new TF toon so we can see what somthing from the show looks like. I want more info than The Hub. I want some Any info on the show. I know the fall is a long way a way but. The name of the show wood be ok. Right?
