Japanese TFA ending song and episode 1 clip

With the previous unveiling of the Japanese opening sequence for Transformers Animated (named, "TRANSFORMERS EVO", btw) come two more clips of the series from YouTube.

First is the ending sequence which is also newly-designed, made up primarily of promotional character artwork with lots of flashy movements. Of note is the fact that Megatron's Earth Mode body is kept hidden in shadow. The name of this song is "Axel Transformers" and is performed by Rey. Its music kinda sounds like a mix between the music from Might Morphin Power Rangers and Teen Titans, but in an even more awesome way.

Second is an actual clip from the first episode of the Japanese dub, "A New Chapter! Transformers" (Part one of "Transform and Roll Out"). Starting from the scene that introduces the Decepticons and finishing at the point where Megatron is thrown out from the Autobots' ship. The story is mainly the same as the English version, with the only noticeable differences being Megatron saying "Megatron, transform!", Bulkhead being named "Ironhide", the sides of the screen featuring some Autobot logo designs (to accomodate widescreen TV formats), some newly-added Autobot-to-Decepticon logo scene transitions (that look strikingly similar to those used in the U.S. version of RiD), new commercial bumpers, among other minor changes.

Well, it certainly has thus far kept the spirit of the American show, however I wish that if any production company was going to try to make the animated series mesh with the live action films that they would have done that from the very get go of Animated. Basically in the way Batman the Animated series was supposed to be a direct link to the Tim Burton Batman movies. But I feel the execution will be way off on linking TFA to the live action movies because the characters have layouts that are so wildly different from their movie counterparts. If thats the direction they want to go with their version of Animated, more power to them, because they've got a heck of a task on their hands.

That's what I'm thinking. It's going to be quite a challenge to adapt such a vastly different series as Animated to match up with the movies. But if they are able to successfully pull off such a merger by altering the show into a believable tie-in with the movies, then such a feat would be most impressive. Even if it's disregards the canon of the U.S. series, it was still be amazing to see if they can really pull it off.

Wait are they tying it in just by dubbing it or are they going to also cut/insert new animation and change the episode order?

They are going to dub it into Japanese; keep the U.S. terms of "Autobot", "Decepticon", "Optimus Prime", Planet "Cybertron", etc. (instead of "Cybertron", "Destron", "Convoy", Planet "Seibertron", etc.); reorder the episodes, change Bulkhead into Ironhide; use different opening and ending sequences (complete with two awesome new songs); add new scene transitions; and a few other changes; all to tie Animated in with the live action movies.
