ok i've got two thauts and both of them don't exactly fill me with happyness although they do depart from the norm giving something new wich is good i guess.
my thauts are rodimus , because of the flame deco on his hood and doors. why not make him larger its a movie rite lol

honestly, i'm surprised that they haven't atempted to put drift in to the films yet seeing as they are seemingly trying to "make him the transformers iquivalant of wolverine"

I know this is off the wall but maybe Fire Convoy, leader of a small squad of Autobots who picked up on Primes message at the end of the 07 movie.... think of it....fire truck.... big character (leader sized)..... there are other Autobots out there among the stars.......and it would fit with how bay has played with the TF history.....

Ehren Kruger (new guy on the script for TF2, sole screenwriter for TF3) knows/cares very little about Transformers. This I can forgive. But nothing is sadder than someone like that pretending to be an expert. Look at the Bayniverse's version of the Matrix. Look at it...Look at it!
This 'radical departure' nonsense is probably just Bay and/or Nelson covering up for Kruger, making it look like he did it on purpose. An idiot Bay may be, but I don't blame him (well, not entirely) for the travesty that was TF2.

Bet my bottom dollar on Rodimus or U. Magnus. Though I hope that Ultra Magnus is some kind of armored truck vehicle.

magnus had a grate alt mode in animated. i would like to see him in a form resembling it for the movie universe although a lot mor real lol. if not the good old car transporter is a tried and tested method for a thumbs up fandom lol

I think Rodimus is more likely than Magnus but im still hoping its Fire Convoy. Maybe Red Alert? he was a fire cheif's car.....not that far to change into a fire truck......

I would put my money on Rodimus. But I have a suspicion it will end up being Blaster.

blaster is an interesting consideration but i would have thaut he would be a satalite or a music van or something of that consideration.

i am sooo not happy about the changes to bb optimus and sideswipe.
i don't reely want to get a new prime leader figure but the trailer would be nice. bb doesn't reely need changing and well i'm just lucky i didn't pick up a sideswipe because i will now be wanting the convertable lol.

It would be cool if it was Rodimus, but PLEASE don't make him the new leader of the Autobots in the beginning of TF3 in an effort to promote new toys. :-)

The fire truck is TF3 is indeed Ultra Magnus. he used to be a car carrier.He is Optimus Prime's brother and he is a city & wrecker commander

if the firetruck is in the furst wave of leaders and is ither rodimus or magnus i will get it lol.

It is just said that there will be a Fire Truck autobot, but it doesn't mention how big of a character it will be (story wise, not size). Is it possible that it could be Optimus and that he reformats himself into a fire truck by the end of the movie? We have already seen BB reformat himself in the first movie, and Optimus has been depicted as a fir truck in numerous variations of Transformers. After seeing a pic of the fire truck I would if not Optimus, then Ultra Magnus or Cybertron Hot Shot. I wouldn't have guessed that but after seeing the pic, the shape of the vehicle it looks very much like the TF: Animated Ultra Magnus, or the Cybertron Defense Hot Shot.

i would dout its a reformatted prime. after all it stated that it would make the fandom reel and people are used to prime as a firetruck. i am guessing grimlock as it is a radical deparcher from the norm and lets face it. fire truck, and the dinobots used fire as primary weapons. loose and floppy link but as likely as any.

I'll say it's Firebolt, since it kind of looks like the Minicon from the Armada line, or Redhot, or I dunno, whoever you guys will go for. My money's on Ultra Magnus, but we'll just have to wait and see.

there is roomer going round that its not a gen 1 caricter so what firetrucks can you guys think of from other lines that arn't optimus, inferno, hotspot, pyro.

They have to have Inferno in the movie! If the firetruck isn't Inferno, Hotspot, or Pyro...then it's probably gonna be Rodimus...Let's just hope we don't have a re-anactment of the 1986 movie..

the wiki on sideswipe says he has a relation called sunstreeker so i am assuming that sunstreeker is in tf3 ither toyline or movie or dead.

How about the firetruck being one of Prime's "upgrades" just like Jetfire was for him in the 2nd movie.. Heh, perhaps his trailer becomes his Powermaster form and the firetruck being something like God Bomber?

And if indeed the other truck is Ultra Magnus, wouldn't it be cool they can also combine to form Omega Prime?!

Michael Bay has ruined the Transformers and all we accomplish by discussing it is owning a little piece of that destruction ourselves. Shame on us all. Long live G1!
