Sightings alert! Wave 5 of the Cybertron Deluxe Class toys is out in the USA. Bill of Bill's Toys and Games picked up Downshift and Cybertron Defense Hot Shot at a Wal*Mart Supercenter in Shreveport, Louisiana. You can see a visual proof here, and don't forget to post your own sightings of Downshift here and of Cybertronm Defense Hot Shot here!

Just like Cybertron Defense Red Alert and the upcoming Cybertron Defense Scattorshot toy, Cybertron Defense Hot Shot is also supposed to be an upgrade of the previous Cybertron toy of the same name, but unlike in RiD, Armada and Energon, where Hasbro would just slap new colors on an existing toy and call it an "upgrade", these are actually entirely new molds which just share their colors with their original incarnations.

Downshift, meanwhile, is based on a 70s muscle car and one of the toys that don't have a Japanese "Galaxy Force" counterpart (which, however, also means he won't make an appearance on the show).

In other news, more repackages that have originally been announced by the official Collectors' Club magazine back in November have leaked through unofficial sources and include the "Drag Race Pack" (Hot Shot vs. Override), the "Critical Path Pack" (Red Alert vs. Sideways) and the "Ground to Air Blast Pack" (Crosswise vs. Thundercracker). All three two-packs will be exclusively available at Target, as will three more packs which so far haven't been seen online, namely Mudflap with Mini-Cons Shockwave and Tankor, Leobreaker with Mini-Cons Sky Lynx and Thunderblast, and Evac with Mini-Cons Razorclaw and Steamhammer.

Unlike the "Buy one, get one free" bonus packs already available from numerous stores, these ones will not merely be already packaged toys just shrinkwrapped or carded together, but instead will come in entirely new packaging, just like the Cybertron Deluxe/Mini-Con Tiny Tin packs that have been available at Wal*Mart stores for a few weeks by now.
