My favorite character would be Beast Wars Optimus Primal, because he not only had his different forms throughout the series, but he displayed great qualities of a leader and he only chose to fight as the last course unless otherwise.

As for my favorite toy would be Optimal Optimus, he was the biggest Beast Wars toy that I had and it was cool seeing him take down my sister's barbie dolls.

Favorite character: Beast Wars Dinobot. Hands down, no contest.
Favorite toy? Wow that's tough, I'm extremely fond of Cybertron/Primus toy, Unicron, Magnaboss, Rampage (Transmetal Ultra), Supreme Cheetor (just kidding not really.)

Yeah!! Being a toy adict I have to say out of all the TF's I own the CDF Team is the way to go, Classics Skyfire would be second place. But of those I don't own it would be Brave Maximus (Fort Max repaint for R.I.D.). Going by cartoons it's a tie between all the Transformer bases, G1 Galvatron (gotta love his ego and voice) the Gigantion guys, and G1 Blaster I mean HELLO just look at my name.

My kid brother says his favorite toy that he owns is his Cybertron Starscream, but the ones he doesnt own would be Sixshot. His favorite cartoon is again G1 sixshot.

one of my favorit characters is Nightscream, I love bats and he was the first bat major bat Transformer in a show. As for favorit character of all time it would have to be Beast Wars Rhinox. He was the strongest, the smartest and he had some pretty funny lines to.

As for favorit toy I would have to go with Cybertron Mud Flap. He is just a great all around toy.

My favorite over all character is Ravage just because he kicks butt and he recurred through a bunch of the series. Favorite toy... well I have the Beast Wars Metals Jaguar (Transmetal Ravage) toy and he is freakin' awesome. I love the flip out guns and all, but out of American toys I'd have to say the Tripredacus Agent (again Ravage) toy was just too cool of a repaint.

My favorite characters would be all the various Optimus Primes.

As far as toys are concerned, my favorites are Cybertron Primus, And Unicron. The two Gods are the epitome of Transformers design

Favorite character would be G1 Optimus Prime from the cartoon. Not the Simon Furman - unwittingly thrust into leadership - Prime. Really anyone with a deep personality. Rattrap, Dinobot, (Furman's) Grimlock, Kicker (j/k).
Favorite toy depends on my mood. I've always been partial to combiners. I love Smokescreen since he is the first Alternator. Mudflap's awesome too.

The original Predacons and their combined form, Predaking. Hands down the biggest, baddest Decepticon combiner in Transformers history.

I consider myself fortunate enough to own the Takara Reissue of Predaking as well, and he stands as one of my favorites in my collection. I must admit that the TF: Armada release of Unicron also ranks up there, if only because it's friggin' Unicron.

G1 Roadbuster.

Well, I'm huge fan of any character whose name is Side Swipe. But, gotta love G1. My favorite toy...well, I like Cybertron Downshift (love the alt. mode), and Alternators Side Swipe.

Anybody for G1 Soundwave? He is my all around favorite oh and his tapes are awesome too

Favorite character.. that's a tough one. It might be somewhere between the original Prime, Beast Wars Dinobot, or BumbleBee. Probably a few more.
As for my favorite toy... I like the Masterpiece Prime, and Armada Unicron, and maybe again a few more. So hard to pick just one...

As for my favorite toy, that's more difficult. I really like Classics Jetfire, A-Tidal Wave, Unicron, Primus, and the Cyb Defense team.

My favorite character in the WHOLE TF universe is Optimus Prime! I expecially like G1, Armada, Cybertron, & OF COURSE, the movie Optimus Prime looks to be the baddest mothafuka Prime YET!!

I also enjoy Cybertron Scourge as one of my faves as a toy and character. Best character in Cybertron!

Ok, now the VERY BEST toy out there is a hard pick. Jetfire (classics) would be best if it wasnt for the NON swivel joint above the knee (for now aday toys anyway they should ALL have them *note this Hasbro*) Leader Optimus Prime for 2007 movie looks to be one of the best yet. But ALL the classics and Masterpiece's kick ass IMB, as well as Cybertron Scourge of course.

My favourite Tf is starscream.
For the toy part it has to be BW transmetal optimus primal.
His hover mode is totally wicked!!!!

My favorite character would be Wheelie!! Haha.. no. Beast Wars Megatron. This guy was a mad genious. His plans may not have succeeded but they went farther than ANY Megatron has in the history of Transformers. He was an excellent character.

My favorite toy would have to be Classics Starscream. He has excellent posability and has the very best likeness to the original G1 Starscream.

G1 Starscream all the way. About the toy i'm not really sure...i guess i'd stick with MP Optimus

there's like half ton of cool characters in the TF universes but Dinobot and Ratchet are really great heroes in their own ways.
Speaking of toys, most of you guys forget about the smaller classes which also have their share of cool toys among these,Energon Divebomb redefines Ninja for TF and Hardtop from Cybertron is one of the coolest snipers ever made in toys
