"Holy $#!T! What're we gonna do now?!"

Long time TF fans may not immediately recognize the name Corey Burton, but you should!  He is the voice actor responsible for the most infamous line of dialog in the history of  Transformers.  (See headline above)  Corey Burton played the adult Spike in the 1986 Transformers animated movie among many other roles in G1 Transformers animation.

We have confirmed with various independent sources (not the least of which, the Frank Welker homepage) that Corey Burton will be playing the voice of Megatron in the next Transformers television series, Transformers: Animated.  He will sit opposite of David (Beast Wars/Cybertron... Megatron) Kaye who will voice Optimus Prime and Tom (Sponge Bob Square Pants) Kenny who will voice the new Starscream.  You can hear Corey's animation demo track by following the link.  Awesome stuff!

In G1 television animation series he also played the young boy Spike Witwicky, Alpha Trion, Vector Sigma,  Sunstreaker, Shockwave and Brawn!!  This guy's resume in animation is a mile long and a great sign that the forces behind "TF:Animated' have put serious talent in place.

I always thought "the most infamous line of dialog in the history of Transformers" was "This alligator is big and heavy!" - "From the looks of it, I'd say a little of both." from "City of Steel", not some stupid four-letter-word.

The line from City of Steel, might win the prize for worst line in the history of TF. So also might any number of lines from "Sea Change" or "The Girl who Loved Powerglide". But I think you'd find an aweful lot of fans were ticked off that it took 10+ years to release a version of TFTM on VHS or DVD where the two swearing lines hadn't been censored out... (at least in the U.S.) I'd still vote for the "Holy $#!T!" line myself! :)

I vote with Perceptor on this one. As far as "infamous" goes swearing in a childrens movie wins. It is however far from the worst line or exchange in the series.

I'm with Perceptor "Holy S#!T" and the lines:

OPTIMUS: "One Shall stand one shall fall."
MEGATRON: "Why throw away your life so reclessly?"
OPTIMUS: "That a question you should ask yourself Megatron."

Those three lines are legendary they were used in G1 in many parodies I've seen and episode 50 of TF: Cybertron when Optimus and Galvatron said them at the start of their very last battle.

the swearing still wins. when i was a kid, my best friendd saw the movie before i did and claled me after words and the first words otu oif his mouth were " spike cursed!" the other lien may wins for coolness, but not infamy, if ti was the most infamous, my friend would've quoted it when he called!
