*UPDATED* ROTF toys and OFFICIAL teaser poster!

The-Arker.com has some brand new images of some of the upcoming ROTF toys. First, they have several new in-package images of the Fast Action Battler figure Jolt who is the Chevy Volt in the movie. These images give us a good look at the front, back, and underside of the ROTF FAB packaging, and a close up of Jolt's FAB package art. In addition, they also have two images of the back of two of the new Scout Class figures's packaging. One of them is the boat that we've seen beofre, and the other one is a new biplane character.

Finally, there is a new auction on Ebay that is selling three Transformers movie posters. Two of them were from the first film, but the other one could very well be the first teaser poster for the ROTF movie. Previously there were several fake posters floating around the Internet that could be confirmed fake by anyone with a good eye, but this one is different. The production quality of the image is greater than the fakes, and it uses the same "ominous eyes" look as the ROTF toys packaging that has been seen previously. What also interesting is that Bay said the first poster would be released around this time of the year. Check out the poster here and decide for yourself if you think it's real or not.

*UPDATE*

Yahoo! Movies has confirmed that this poster is the official teaser poster, and have posted it here. This is also supported by Michael Bay's post on the Shoot for the Edit Forums where he says that the official teaser poster was released yesterday.

Also, The-Arker.com has some more photos of the above two Scout figures, and reveals that their named are Depth Charge (boat) and Ransack (biplane).

So remember,

No, Jolt wasn't in the first film. Did you not see it?

I hope that poster is another fake. I don't like it.

Don't get me wrong, I don't need a spoiler riddled full body shot the united Constructicons laying waste to Sideswipe Jolt, Optimus Prime and Jetfire to make me happy. But I'd like a little more to look at than 2 red eyes and some blurred out cheek/eyebrow plates...

ugh.....I'm guessing that the face may belong to, "The Fallen", or Megatron, though with Bay trying to lead us off of his trail nothing's certain. (sigh)
Oh well, all that i want right now is a trailer and my MP-08 from BBTS.

The poster isn't revealing but teaser posters rarely are. Actually I don't think it is half bad. Either it is official or someone is acting prematurely because this poster is now on the wiki page for ROTF.

Actually if you ask me the face in the poster looks a lot like movie Starscream's face (yes I can in fact tell what Starscream's face looks like). Seeing as screamer is supposed to be a prominent villain in the story besides The Fallen and especially if Megatron is not resurrected (here's hoping he isn't believe it or not) then it wouldn't suprise me that he gets a poster treatment.

Usually movies get more than one poster too so if this is Starscream then a poster with The Fallen will most likely show up, one with Prime probably as well.

If it is a legitamite poster, then I think its a new character (probably the Fallen), unless Starscream put on some sort of crown (ala the 1980's movie) or Megatron got his head somewhat reformatted. There is a closer match to Megatron then Starscream when you sit down and do the comparision head shots, but its still different. I'm kinda hoping Megatron comes back simply because I felt he got short changed in the first movie. He's supposed to have been the biggest, baddest Decepticon that ever lived and he got what, fifteen minutes of screen time? He wakes up, scares a bunch of humans, not back on line for five minutes and has already berated Starscream, scares a bunch more humans, kills Jazz, and throws down with Prime. I expected more from him. I really did. But enough of that...

My big question is...who scanned a bi-plane as an earth mode?

Ransack is the name of the Bi-Plane.

Bass X0, wouldn't you say that this is the first biplane Transformer? I can just imagine getting three of these and with either Apeface, Beastbox, or Optimus Primal, re-enacting the famous scene from King Kong!! And it looks like for the first time since the old Universe version, Depth Charge's name gets some love.

By the way, just today I got the SDCC Nemesis Prime, and he is COOL!! I noticed that on one half of the windvane it's not painted. Were this version in a cartoon, I'd say Keith David would be a good voice.

Woah, now HOW long ago did we hear about that? Has it really been really been eight months since we posted that? My, time sure flies.
Sidewinder said,  - 2009-01-09 22:04:26
Okay, Ransack scanned a bi-plane...why? You know the other Decepticons have to openly mock him for that. That or he did it on a bet.
