ROTF Robot Heroes and Leader Class

New images of the new Robot Heroes toys for the ROTF toyline have shown up at ACToys. In these pictures, we see Sideswipe vs. Sideways, Optimus Prime (new mold) vs. Blackout (redeco of first film's toy), Mudflap vs. Rampage, Bumblebee (can't if he's a new mold or not) vs. Long Haul, Autobot Springer vs. Starscream (can't tell about him either), and Autobot Skids vs. Megatron.

Now, I wouldn't take this as a way of saying that Blackout's back for the sequel, as he could just be there to fill out the toyline. But, with Springer getting both a Legends figure and a Robot Heroes figure (both of wich are ususally given to those who appear in the film), this could be further evidence of Springer appearing in the film.

In addition, new photos have shown up in Ebay auctions of the Leader Class Optimus Prime and Megatron figures. Prime's auction shows off his robot mode, weaponry, and packaging, while Megatron's auction shows off his packaging, face, and robot mode.

Plus, The Arker has much more images of Prime and Megs both of their modes, as well as close ups of each figure's details and designs.

Okay, why isn't Optimus paired with Megatron? That should be an obvious pairing they could have done.

Wait a minute, didn't Blackout die in the first movie? I'm prety sure he did, so does this mean he's returning in transformers 2? If so, does that mean he'll get an updated figure?

Jazz is getting a new mold toy for ROTF. Jazz. For the RPM Battlers thing. Clearly not returning to reappear in the second movie means nothing to these smaller sub-lines.

Anyway, this Blackout looks good. I didn't care for the color scheme of the original RH Blackout but Long Haul and Blackout are going to make me break my "no movie Robot Heroes" rule I had during the first movie (I didn't like the designs much).

Mightwork, did you overlook the sentence that says: "Now, I wouldn't take this as a way of saying that Blackout's back for the sequel, as he could just be there to fill out the toyline."?

Jumpercliff, like the first movie Robot Heroes, they didn't pari Prime and Megs together for a good reason. See, Prime and Megs are very popular characters and the ones that kids will most likely want to buy. Hasbro, also wants to find ways to make money. If they were to pair Prime and Megs into one set, the kids would only buy one set to get both of them. But, if they were put in separate sets, the kids would have to buy two sets instead of one, which means more money for Hasbro.

What? I never said the reason was "good" for us.

What the-? "Mudflap"? I thought the red 'Johnny-5' Autobot was Trax? Don't tell me we're going through the whole "Brawl/Devastator" thing again?

Where have you been? The Chevy Trax's name as Mudflap was revealed a LONG time ago.

Wow, if the movie was like the Megs vs Skids battle pack it would be a very quick fight. The leader class megs and prime are a buy for me.
