Last but not least, I, yes I Perceptor of, actually bid on and won an item in this auction!  Those of you who know me will understand why I would be so interested in it:
The original microscope (lensometer) Transformer, the alternate mode of "Scalpel" for the (IMHO) reasonable price of $650 + $117 "buyer's premium" price!!!

"I aam ze dok-tor!  Unt I muzt 'ave ze brains on ze table!"

It looks so different from the toy.

Out of those others, I'd take the Matrix.

Here's what I want to know: Who would pay $531 for a sock full of sand???? The fact that I was able to get an actual Transformers character: "The Doctor" for so similar/reasonable of a price, makes me very happy indeed!

Over 5,000 bucks for Yvonne Craig's belt buckle? Yikes!

I just realized that that JP Raptor could sort of be counted as a TF item as it could represent BW Dinobot near life-size.

$2,500 for Captain Witwicky's glasses. Sam would have been very happy hadthey gone for that price on E-Bay...

BTW, does it say there actually IS dust in the sock? How do we know there's isn't foam of something in there?
As for me, my item of choice would be the 16 Ft. Bumblebee prop, followed by the 6 Ft Terminator T-800. Funny, the 16 Ft. robot is $5000 less ($75,000) than the 6 Ft. one ($80,000). If I got both, I'd pose Bumblebee about to blow the T-800 away. Although, I'd have to do it out in the yard, maybe build a garage around them...

HEY GUYS, I'M BACK !!!!! LONG TIME, NO SEE!!! Anyway, why would they charge $2,006 for a dress? I understand it was in the movie, but come on! P.S. Does the astronomy txbk have real astronomy, or is just scribbled on ?
Perceptor said,  - 2009-10-12 20:54:10
The question isn't "why would they charge?..." This is an auction. The real question is, which (not 1 person) but 2 people were willing to pay $2,000 for a dress worn by Megan Fox for ~10 seconds in the movie... $2K for a dress... Wow.
Overhaul said,  - 2009-10-12 22:09:15
I gave up trying to figure why a girl might spend a ton of money on clothes... ok, so maybe I didn't. Maybe it has something to do with the material, or the style, or... something else. Not to mention this dress was in the movie, and worn by Megan Fox (I guess I don't get all the hype, but she is big in Hollywood now)... thus, expensive dress.

That's messed up, big time.If megan fox worn it longer,I bet the price would go up.
