"Leader"/"Battle Ops" Bumblebee in packaging

Just went from "maybe" to "definite pass" based on these pics. That ring thing looks fugly, really kills the figure.

It has horrible legs and looks kind of juvenile, but who knows without a review.

It looks like everyone who said it was a photoshopped HA Bumblebee wasn't entirely on the wrong track. Unfortunately this is a step backwards. It looks like a step forwards in terms of accuracy until you see that stupid ring thing. And the white face. And those shoulder cannons don't look retractible. I will say though that the back kibble looks similar to HA but very slightly improved. The legs look nice too. I see kitbashers putting those on their HA Bees.

Yet once again the hand is oriented so as to render the elbow useless unless you are content with the palm eternally facing up. I've griped about this before. This problem has always existed in Transformers but I've never seen it this commonplace before.

I don't see a HA BB kitbash crossover, this is leader class sized. It's going to go for around $50-60.

I'll reserve judgement until I see the thing up close, but my initial reactions is "ehh..." Why can't we get more decepticons out there.

They ARE making a Leader class Starscream. It's coming later this year.

Thats true and the leader class Starscream does look good, but my point is wouldn't a leader class of The Fallen make more since then both of these other 2? I mean the movie was supposed to be about him.

What I find a little funny about the RotF figures is that while you have leader Optimus, Jetfire and Megatron, and can even combine Optimus and Jetfire for a proximity of the enhanced Optimus from the end of the film, there's no leader Fallen for him to fight! I'm even considering taking an old SR-71 model, cutting it accordingly and making a removable armor for Voyager class Optimus to offset the Voyager Fallen.
