Many of us have become aware that the upcoming Transformers toyline for 2010 (which include the Hunt for the Decepticons subline) will feature a Leader Class Starscream figure based on his apppearance in the Revenge of the Fallen movie.

However, what many of us may not know is that TakaraTomy is planning their own special release of this figure in quite a different way than one would expect. Thanks to both TFSource and BBTS, we have our first looks at the next Masterpiece figure! Behold: MP-M01 Masterpiece Transformers the Movie Edition - Starscream!

This Starscream appears to be an even more movie-accurately painted version of the Leader Class Starscream mold. And thanks to another image found by the guys at TFINO, we can clearly see that this Starscream will feature a color scheme faithful to his Movie 1 protrayal without the Cybetronian tattoos in Jet or Robot Mode.

And, being a Masterpiece, could we assume that he may feature the lost art of die-cast construction? Well, we don't know yet. But time may tell, my friends. Time may tell.
