Beast Wars and the Fresh Prince

Hey everybody.  This is in no way *new* news, but still pretty entertaining.  Overt at Youtube you can see a video from the Fresh Prince of Bellaire where Will Smith gets his hands on some of the very first Beast Wars action figures: Razorbeast and Iguanus.  It's a pretty entertaining clip and an awesome cameo for the Beast Wars from back in their day.  Happy Viewing.

I haven't heard of that episode before. Then again, I haven't seen it aired on Nick @ Nite. Now I just saw it, and it is HILARIOUS! Who knew Will Smith could do a good Dinobot.

Hey, everybody, why ain't ya making comments? This site is getting boring.

Sorry about that, I was busy. Starscream, you ever see a fan art entry on that featured Elita-1 as Cinderella? Inspired by that, I did some Photoshop creations that put Punch/Counterpunch in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Optimus Primal in King Kong. I was wondering if you liked this idea: Smokescreen (G1), Devcon, and Nightbeat (G1) in a Cybertronian version of 'Guys and Dolls', with Smokescreen as Sky Masterson, Devcon as Nathan Detroit, and Nightbeat as Lt. Brannigan. I put Smokescreen and Devcon in there because of the G1 episode 'The Gambler', and 'Guys and Dolls' was about gamblers, and that G1 Nightbeat was street-savvy. So what do you think?

Don't get me wrong, but I don't know what your talking about Aaron. But I still am a transformers fan, even if I have no idea what that is. I do know some of the characters you mentioned though. Thanks for asking Jumpercliff/Aaron.

Beast Wars...
I miss that part of my life. I still have the figures and I have all the DVDs but I can never recapture the feeling of being there when it was all happening. I remember precisely when and where I got each figure I own and believe me I own a lot!
It's a shame that new generations aren't able to enjoy TFs in the same way, thanks to horrible shows and useless figures.

While you have a point, Chaos Bringer. The figures of lines since BW have been fairly good, if you accept the limitations of an across the line gimick i.e. mini-cons, powerlinking, and cyber keys. The shows weren't great. BW was GREAT. It was great to the point that we will likely never get another tf cartoon to even rival it for first place. And, when you remove nostalgia from the equasion, the Unicron Trilogy was still generally better than g1.

My favorite artist with my favorite toys. I wonder if Will Smith still likes Transformers today.

Ya I'm with K...wing all the way but look at it this way every some years a new gerneration emerges like 1984-90: G1 generation, 1993-95: G2 generation, 1996-99: BW/BM generation, 2000-01: RID generation, 2002-06: The Unicron Trilogy generation, 2007+ the real life movie and others to be seen. With each new generation comes new toy "perks" kinda like hasbro doesn't want to stick with the same one thing even if it works they like to keep it "fresh" and "spiced up" so we don't get bored and they don't get bored not including things like the "spring loaded guns" thats on almost every action figure in the world.

Go here for every BW/BM intro. Done by me.

Unicron trilogy figures are definitely not as good as BW figs. Armada figures are clunky and poorly articulated. Energon figures sactifice the ENTIRE structure to accommidate the powerlinking gimmick. Cybertron figures insult your intelligence by not transforming into anything (hunched over robot is NOT and alt mode!) and by pretending that a figure does not have to be better if it costs more money. Beast Wars figures were well articulated, fit gimmicks only where gimmicks could fit, and figures all had something to justify being in a certain size class. And it didn't cost a fortune to get the Optimus and Megatron figures.

Nothing will ever compare to Beast Wars, everything about the show was perfect, and the toys were some of the best made,
