Finally. Transformers 2 is confirmed. ^_^ Now all we need is a list of new formers. Such as: UltraMagnus, the dino bots, Skywarp and Thundercracker, Soundwave, and Shockwave. ^_^

Im still pushing for my dream of it having at bit more G1 elements, Nemisis in there, more cybertron backstory, orgins, something.... and of course the ending with a teaser of Unicron haha.

That's a relief! I do hope they also put the COMBINER Devatstor in there as well.

They will have to call him brawl instead :<.

Most likely, Brawl will be retconned in the first movie, although the change won't appear in the DVD until a three movie box set 5 or more years from now. Then they will name Devastator the combiner.

i already knew that transformers 2 was gonna start .michael bay said he was gonna start after watching the movie on imax .i agree with hawkeyesol ,i also think that welker should voice megs .but i kinda got used to weaving so .

Not the we want the 75 year old voice actor to be are megatron. He was poor in the video game, and I loved the way he voiced him in the 80's but that was 20 plus years ago. No not want agent smith is a whole different story, but Mr. Welker just can't do it anymore.

Whatever anybody wants in the next movie, keep wishing. The writers and anyone else involved will do what they want to do. Whatever it is they do will make some happy and some unhappy. Either way, I think it will be good.

I think they will make the right call in the end. There will always be haters and lovers, can't avoid it.

There is no definite proof that Megatron (and/or Galvatron) will even be in the movie (Although I admit that I think he will be there somehow). Regardless, I kind of agree that Welker is a little old for Megatron now. He still does great voice acting, but the game was a sign that his Megatron days are far away; he was really good at it in the day, but now I'm not so sure.

At least we have Peter Cullen still, and his voice definitely aged well.

I personally was filled with childhood glee when I heard Frank Welker do Megatron in the game and thought he sounded just fine. Having him for the sequel would be awesome. Agent Smith (whatever his name is again) did fine, but to have the original voices of Optimus Prime and Megatron exchanging corny fighting words again would mean the world! Even if they can't get Welker, I didn't mind the guy who did the voice for Megatron in Armada and Energon. However they distorted his voice made him sound awesome.

Your thinking of David Kaye Masterforce0. Although he was good as those Megatrons, he is best known for Beast Wars Megatron. In any case, David Kaye is now on Transformers Animated, oddly enough, doing the voice of Optimus Prime, with Corey Burton (G1 Spike) doing Megatron there.

Things like a Vette-bot are what sequils are all about. And, licensing with any major automaker greatly brings down the cost of production. While they may not license with GM (although it seems obvious they would), they will almost certinly license with someone.

starscream is stupid

I hope Starscream gets more screen time in Transformers 2, it would be cool to have Thundercracker and Skywarp as well.
I just hope that Starscream doesn't get killed off, same with Prime, don't kill off the Transformers that the fans know and love the best, there are so many from the G1 series that could be used for cannon fodder. Keep Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Ratchet, Starscream, Soundwave, all alive and kicking, wait till the third or fourth movie for any major Autobot or Decepticon deaths. Don't make the mistake the animated movie of 1986 made. I think Barricade will still be "out on patrol" for the Decepticons, hope so, I'd like to see Blackout return, but I doubt that will happen. Also bringing Frenzy back would be a plus, he's good comic relief. Look to the skies, where the Mighty Starscream flies, looking below, searching high and low with laser guided missles for Autobots we all know, searching for his destiny and dreaming his dream, that all of mankind will serve the Decepticons led by the Mighty Starscream. well at least until Megatron comes back that is.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Megatron rebuilt into Galvatron and being voiced by Leonard Nimoy. Of all the changes brought about by the TF animated movie, Galvatron was one of the less dumb. I've grown to appreciate Rodimus, but he was no Optimus. Still, I would like to see Arcee and Hot Rod in the sequel, and instead of Constructicons they could do Bruticus and the stuntacons. Arialbots would be a good idea too, maybe have a good dogfight with Starscream and Thundercracker.

Question? Reading the prequel to Transformers the movie Megatron crashed on earth and froze.Megatron never adopted an earth form ie.disguise so was he still in protoform with the cybertronian jet?With this in mind if he comes back in the sequel will he get an earth form,maybe something resembling G1 megs or Galvatron?Megs was the only transformer on earth not to take an earth form so if he comes back what will they surprise us with?

I also hope that Galvatron will be a new character in Transformers 2 since Megatron is dead though.

I would want Michael Bay to bring back Jazz and Blackout.After all, it's ridiculous that Blackout was killed by Humans in the movie.I also think that Soundwave,Shockwave,Prowl,Wheeljack,Cliffjumper,Hound,Huffer,Skywarp,Thundercracker and the Constructicons should b in the sequel

i think i would like Megatron come back and kick Starscream butt but not kill him but kill prime like in 1986. If they make TF3 i would want Galvatron to be in it and kill starscream. The Prime return and kills Galvatron

Here is who i think should be in the movie. Prime, Ultra Magnus, Hot Shot, red Alert (armada style), Smokescreen (armada style).

Like i like transformers becuz its like too awesome and becuz its like my favorite movie EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So yeah i like that movie too....yeah...awesome movie.....cool
