The brochure for the 2009 BotCon convention is now available to read online. It describes a good amount of what this year's convention is all about. it also mentions what this year's toy set will be. Called Wings of Honor, this set includes Kup, Thunderclash, Landshark, Flak, and Scourge; all likely redecos of past figures. It also gives us a summary of the convention story that these characters (and more) take place in. Set back in the early days of the Cybertronian Civil Wars, we'll get to see Kup and his teammates fought in the Battle of Beta 9 and created the first Elite Guard (not to be confused with the Transformers Animated team of the same name). We do not know if this story takes place in any universe, as it could be another one like Shattered Glass, where it resides in its own separate universe.

Also, there is a preview for the Elite Guard Kup toy on BotCon's website. He is a redeco of Cybertron Red Alert with a newly retooled Kup head added to it. He bears Elite Guard insignias in the style of the Animated Elite Guard, and has a "young Kup" face on his head, rather than the familiar "old Kup" face that we usually get.
